Bilgarsk Boulevard: Killzone 3 vs Killzone Shadow Fall Comparison (aka The Remains)

Here is a comparison (with commentary) of two versions of the multiplayer map, Bilgarsk Boulevard. It was in Killzone 3 on the PS3, as well as Shadow Fall on the PS4. The name was changed to "The Remains" for Shadow Fall. There are differences between the two maps, and in the video I talk about those difference and show them to you using botzone footage captured from a PS3. I also attempt to ascertain the reasons behind certain changes.

Would you ever consider making Killzone lore content? That would be really dope! Same as killzone map/level remakes in other games (like Halo forge)

Lore content doesn't interest me that much. After I get done with the last two map comparison videos, I may do something else with the remaining maps. I have several channels, so it's a lot to juggle for a one-person team.

that Aside. 5hane when it comes to these kinds of places like youtube's? .... . well. anyways. er-....such like 'blind sally' and some of his friends that participated in the kind of project, etc that they put up, on which you for example were seemingly looking for from a Month ago. (though they are old these Days, but still very valuable. KZ universe and galaxy/franchise Lore-focused purposes speaking). but I recommend you check up on their Full content in of this said-franchise's setting that is available Outside of this more limiting youtube site's. if you got the time and want to read it all through anyways. about their own reviewing take of the KZ universe and galaxy I mean. then under such individuals like said blind sally's/crow's/etc, there is someone like 'redscotgaming'"s own share of KZ universe and galaxy-related focused Lore experience. on some parts not on the same kind of heavy detailing that the former examples that I put up have done back in their own, but at least redscot's own take is at least better compared to how even those like templin institute had executed it. speaking of 'templin institute', them too. even some Few out there like 'galmhd'. he for example is like, 'average' when speaking about the things that he so far did have got the time to pick up on out from the full KZ Lore details, but he does speak them hard too in alongside some of his own Gameplay side of talks and rants, etc while in the middle of his own first playing throughs in all of those 4 main KZ games that he has been on and posted it for everyone to see and get entertained on there. ....

yes. those are my so far shown examples (when it comes to Any Lore/even storytelling/Campaign mode-focused channel here on this darn site) of which you are still probably looking for even after a Month passed since you posting this small suggestive review of yours.

I didn't appreciate Killzone: Shadow Fall at the time for its multiplayer. It just wasn't as appealing as Killzone 2 or Killzone 3, which still had active online communities. The gunplay felt stiffer than Killzone 3 or Killzone 2, and the stock levels seemed more generic. However, when I played it later, I enjoyed it. It's almost better not to view Shadow Fall as a Killzone game; you'll enjoy it more. I think Guerrilla was 'forced' to make it as a launch title and a technical showpiece for the PS4, and it served that purpose well. If you consider how Killzone 3 ended, it seems like they were ready to move on from the Killzone series. Now, they are somewhat stuck making Horizon sequels.

I spoke to one of the Shadow Fall programmers. He said the staff had gotten burned out on the Killzone series and Horizon felt like a breath of fresh air at the time. Maybe they will get tired of Horizon and move back to Killzone. Probably not, but you never know.

Regarding the gunplay, I loved it. The gadget play too. SF was the most strategic of the multiplayers (in my opinion) due to those gadgets. Spawn beacon placement was instrumental to success. It may be brighter and more graphical, but I still see it as Killzone.

Interesting. I always suspected. I enjoyed Horizon; it was a decent game. However, we've been pummeled by open-world games for a long time. I hope they move to something else, not necessarily Killzone, before their core team retires and is replaced by staff that has zero passion for Killzone or Horizon.

Killzone was my beloved franchise on both PS2 and PS3, and i spent countless hours in KZ3 multiplayer. I never had PS Vita so i cant play Mercenary even tho i liked it. After PS4, sadly SONY kill this franchise. Thats why I never had any intentions to buy PS5.

I don't see it that way. The graphics of Shadow Fall overall were miles above the other games in the series. Maybe not on this map, but The Forest and The Park look great.

@@JustKillzone yeah lighting in shadow fall is higher but it was step back in terms of animation and ambient collusion that Killzone 2 relied heavily on
