Looks like those bilge pumps are mounted on a raised stringer. If only there were a way to suck out that last little bit of water from the bilge that those pumps never get such as the SEAFLO Dry Bilge System.

I agree but that costs more money. Manufacturers don't want to hear that. Lol

Another good vid!!! Definitely makes me not want to own a new boat. Especially a Sea Ray!!!

Thank you and it's just how things are moving now. It's getting more and more complicated

Good stuff i personally like both repairs and walk throughs. Maybe you should do some basic startup procedures and shutdown for boats like this. Would be cool to see what it takes from the minute u yank off the cover to minute you leave your dock on some on these new monsters you work on.

Thank you and I like that idea. It does take more to operate them now. 😊

Good stuff man! I've been thinking about a boat when we move back to clw later this year and found your vids because they're all right in the area I used to live. The latest couple of vids (and this one in particular) showing the maintenance and increasingly complex systems is really giving me some food for thought on what to look for when I'm in the market. I may be giving you call, thanks for showing what you do!

Thank you for that. I do appreciate it. It is getting complicated

Justin, I love BOTH. Walk-throughs are neat, especially on the big boys that most of us will never get a chance to own. But the repair side stuff is great, too. Learned more about boat mechanics and electronics from watching your videos than I could ever have imagined. For bilge pumps, do they just fail or are there tell-tale signs they're going south BEFORE failure?
@JustinLeeMarine4 ай бұрын
They just fail and either blow a fuse or relay it bad to a computer. No telling really.

very clean boat. I was looking at a 2019 mercury 225 with about 500 hours. 30 inch shaft. 8,900 buck. non verado. I wonder ihow difficult to change it out to a 25 inch . Would the midsection connection to the block have to be changed. Just found your channel Just subscribed. best Mark

Thank you and you would have to either replace the gearcase to a 25 or replace the driveshaft in the original gearcase.

I’m telling you-don’t get fat and old-you’ll never get in those tight weird places.
