Abe Lincoln was a humble man, but in his younger days he had legendary strength. He is in the Wrestling Hall of Fame! He beat the toughest guy in the local gang in his town, Jack Armstrong. Jack used an illegal (and painful) move on Abe, so Abe picked Jack up over his head, and threw him to the ground, knocking him out. 👍😎🇺🇲

During the costume contest in the auditorium they let everyone in costume up on stage to tell what they were. Most people were just like "I'm a mummy"..."I'm a robot"...etc. We kicked out the jams and did it full on with energy: "I am Bill S. Preston Esquire!....and I am Ted Theodore Logan....and together we are WYLD STALLYNS!!!" The entire auditorium went nuts. "Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K." Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Frazier Bain. Count It Out Fact: Characters say "dude" 70 times and "excellent" 30 times. Epic Foreshadowing Fact: Fact: All of the figures that Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) pick up through history are shown on the blackboard in the opening scene. Causal Loop Paradox Fact: Rufus (George Carlin) never introduces himself to Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves). The future Bill and Ted introduce him to their past selves at the Circle K. This provides an example of a causal loop paradox. Location Location Fact: The Circle K in the film is in San Dimas, CA, at the corner of Walnut and Bonita Avenues. The convenience store scenes were at least partially filmed at the Circle K in Tempe, AZ, at the northwest corner of Southern and Hardy. The scene when Napoleon (Terry Camilleri) slides down the water slides at "Waterloo" was filmed at the Golfland/Sunsplash water park in Mesa, AZ. Music Enthusiast Fact: The centermost "future dude" was played by Clarence Clemons, who was the saxophone player for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band during their heyday. He is best remembered for his solo in the Born To Run (1975). After the film was released, Edward Van Halen jokingly said he would have joined their band if they had asked. The punk band The Ataris wrote a song based on Ox's report. It's titled San Dimas High School Football Rules (1999), but it has nothing to do with the film.

I remember when this came out... Saw it in the theater. The newspaper had a breakdown of their unique vocabulary. It was a most excellent idea, have it still

Apparently the actress who played Joan of Arc, Jane Wiedlin, was also the singing telegram girl in Clue. I had to look her up because apparently she found acting difficult and she didn't think she was any good. She plays guitar for The Go-Go's.

Apparently Socrates was kind of a dude bro. His student Plato is only called that because that was his his gym-nickname, meaning "wide." Socrates would have probably been super down for a random adventure through time, and all its ensuing shenanigans. "Oh we're busting out those two weird dudes that brought us here from being executed? Let's make it dramatic. Also I'm driving."
