I had NO IDEA that Shel wrote this song!! Decades ago I lived in Key West, and Shel lived a few doors down from me. He'd come "out of hiding" every so often and we'd get to visit with him. I've learned way more about Shel in the past years than I ever knew about him way back when I actually knew him!! Shel WAS truly amazing with all his creative talent!!

Bill Anderson is definitely one of the greatest, but he couldn’t sing if his life depended on it but I still love him
