I'd love to see Calais back, but another possibility to shore up the defensive interior is Osa Odighizuwa from the Cowboys. He's not the greatest run stuffer but he's a pretty decent pass rusher (pff pass rush grade - 70.2). Who knows how long Pierce will be out and Travis didn't even play Sunday. A 6th round pick for a 26 year old free agent former 3rd rd pick who's only owed ~ $1.5M for the remainder seems like a good move to me. Tupou doesn't cut it as a backup DT on a team with Super Bowl aspirations.

What we need: veteran pass rusher (not a stud just someone who can come in and cause pressure) Cornerback: this one we’d need a stud like a marshawn lattimore. Safety: would rather take a corner and move Brandon Stephen’s to safety but I’ll take a big name safety that can sure up back end. But should be prioritized in that order

I don't think their defensive issues can be fixed during one trade deadline but they cannot afford to Oriole this trade deadline away. Especially if they stay relatively healthy this year. They should've addressed this in the off-season but it's too late for that. I don't know what's going on with Madubuike but he's looking like another guy that balled out pre free agency and does nothing after. I was skeptical of resigning him but they're stuck with him now. I hope it works out.

Well the bucs showed that defense has some weaknesses. I think the Ravens can put up 30 on them. But the chiefs are a nightmare matchup for us. Our lack of pass rush and defensive adjustments are amplified against Mahomes.
