15 miles per hour is a mile every 4 minutes. average walking speed is about 4-6 MPH (depending on the pace, obviously). i know from hopping freights that we would wait until the speedometer registered 2o MPH before stepping off into a run & it was possible to deboard at up to 25 without falling down if we dropped our bags first but those speeds're sustainable for a normal person only for a coupla steps.

UK sedan? Hell yeah. Where I live out West, we do 85 on the highway, so cheetahs have gone extinct here. It's sad, but that's the brutal reality of nature.

Compared to animals, human beings just plain don't get tired. Walk toward the roadrunner, and it'll run away a short distance; keep a steady pace, and it'll tire out and just lay down.

Greater roadrunners stand 2 feet tall and can run 25 mph. 25 mph is about a 2.5 minute mile...just sayin But they are known for having skill in trap avoidance, which is likely the reason the cartoon turned out the way it did.
