What makes Burr's shit so hilarious, is that everything he says is 100% true and his delivery is flawless. Best comedian out there right now.

I love Bill Burr. He does this whole bit with Seinfeld on Comedians in Cars about how people are wrong about Seinfeld's comedy is about nothing. He said they aren't listening because they don't see the anger beneath his bits and the total contempt for humanity. Lol. Seinfeld was dying. Bill Burr is the best.

It's a different level of genius when a comedian interacts with a ghost onstage. They "create" a situation instead of just telling jokes. Ricky Gervais does that too. Pretending to respond to audience heckles that didn't happen. Creating a funny situation...pure genius!!

THESE THREE GUYS ARE MY FAVORITE REACTORS ON KZbin. SOMETHING ABOUT THEM BEING BROTHERS AND THEIR CHEMISTRY THAT'S REALLY COOL TO WATCH.
@RB-ku3hh2 жыл бұрын
What makes this bit so funny is how it seems like everyone in that age group had the same parents. Everything he's saying about his parents is exactly how I would describe growing up in my house. The only difference is that he has the talent to make it sound funny. I swear when my brother and I tell stories about growing up we're laughing our asses off and the people who are listening don't understand how we find it funny. Life was so different back then.

2:15 --- EXACTLY, man. I've been saying this for a long time, since I first saw this show. Bill is a bigger *actor* among comics than anyone else I can think of. That little "scene" that he does with his girlfriend, where you infer what she's saying by the way he reacts - that's as good as a really solid audition for a part in a play. If he'd been doing that for a casting director, she'd be impressed. He commits to his bits and the way he doesn't just tell a story, but to act it out. This takes genuine talent and a knowledge that you can always improve as a performer. After the little scene in the clip above, it feels wrong that there isn't an applause break, because that was exceptional.
@thebrewingsailor91722 жыл бұрын
Just look at his scene in The Mandalorian S2 where he's twitching with PTSD in front of a former CO who was a war criminal then he snaps and puts one right in his heart over the Ward Room table. Every vet I know was like, "I never thought I would see such a visceral and well acted scene of PTSD in Star Wars of all places." Phenomenal actor. He needs to be in more stuff.

Awesome stuff! Bill' excellent. What's more awesome is the 3 of you together. And we're all blessed to share some of it with you. Some things are truly universal.... Music, Truth, Comedy, Kindness, Generosity, Understanding, Forgiveness & Love. Have lived my life without siblings.... Have 3 of them but have always been disconnected as I was 4 years behind them. Just knowing that the 3 of you are close and actually care about one another and love each other does a lot to make up for my own life experiences with such things which have always been lacking. Thank you!

Agree with all your observations. Chappelle, Burr are special. They mirror the earlier pair of Pryor and Carlin. Comics that, more than any of their peers, and more skillfully than their peers, speak Truth, even the truly ugly Truths, but manage to find the funny without losing the message, premise, or core idea. And NONE of these guys gave a FUCK about being “cancelled”, or offending an audience with their truth-based humor. LOVE hanging with you guys, for a good dose of laughter…

Watching this video made me laugh so much. Bill Burr, made me laugh as well. I'm an old (66 year old), used to be fat, balding guy, white guy. You made my day, thanks. ...I wasn't going to put this next bit in, but, keep in mind I'm NOT selling anything. I have pancreatic cancer, and had surgery because of it back in May of this year. I dropped over 60 pounds because of it. I can't recommend a Whipple procedure for weight loss, it's NOT worth it. I'm into my 8th round of chemo, with 4 more to go. I can't stand regular t.v., except for background noise. I tend to watch videos such as yours, and listen to music, which is how I came across your channels. Thanks for the laughs, and good music. Have you ever listened to Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown? Check out his song "Pressure Cooker" God Bless you guys As a Christian, I don't expect people to believe what I do (where's the fun in that?), however, I know that in the end, I get to go home. Good night
