The identity of Phineas' birth father and Ferb's birth mother is unfortunately gonna remain a mystery, as Dan and Swampy wanted to show a healthy reconstituted family. However, I'm hopeful that Hamster and Gretel will address that as they also have a reconstituted family. I genuinely do believe Gretel and Kevin are likely half-siblings.

There is some additional insight I pointed out in the previous video that makes me question if there was actually some ties to the theory: One of Disney TVA’s Instagram posts from a couple weeks ago was a multiple photo slideshow that gave the cosplay items for a few characters as well as one piece of their search history. Phineas was one of the those characters, and the piece of search history the staff gave him was something along the lines of how to turn a triangle head into a normal head. Now, most likely scenario, Phineas was either getting bullied for or feeling insecure about the shape of his head, which is sad because that’s what makes him so iconic to us. BUT what if it’s because that shape is iconic to ANOTHER highly intelligent Disney character who is so psychopathic that Phineas is aware of and doesn’t wanna have any associations with…? What if Phineas’ design is enough like Bill’s to give Bill ironically another vessel AND another peephole since any depiction of him, no matter how minimal or unintentional, is something he can see through?

This is a new realization I just had that probably stretches this theory a bit too much, but I have to point it out: Now, let me preface this by saying that I’m aware Dan Povenmire (Phineas and Ferb’s co-creator and Doof’s VA) has made it clear that Phineas’ original father was never important to mention in the show. Even if this theory is far from the truth, I agree with him and think the show is structured in a way to not reveal deep stuff like that unless he wanted to add something like that in the upcoming two-season revival. *BUT* this sprouted in my brain - Phineas and Ferb came out in 2007 and Gravity Falls came out 5 years later, and making an animated show takes hella long. So what if Alex started a long game with us? What if he just so happened to conceive the full idea for Gravity Falls 5 years or more before the show aired in 2012, told Dan and Swampy about it, which made them create the joke that Bill was actually Phineas’ father without even telling us? Which is why Dan stated it was never important to mention? Again, very long-winded, and even if this is completely false, we shouldn’t force Dan give us the answer. This is all just an incredibly fun headcanon that I will stick with. Bill confirmed in his book an entire multiverse exists within Gravity Falls and various other animated shows, even a few outside of Disney, so maybe one universe exists where this is true.

I like to know what whould happen if they made it canon. I have an idea how it whould go: Phineas whould get the book of bill and through that meets bill. They'd be hanging out maybe a few days or even weeks and during that time, phineas whould come to see bill as a friendly, if a little strange guy and a good friend. That's when Bill reveals himself as his father and tells phineas what to do so they can reunite again: Travel to The universe he was defeated, shake the hand of his statue and bring him back to life. The next day he and ferb, along with their friends, create a portal to that world and enter gravity falls. That's where they whould meet the pines family and become friends too. Phineas ask the pines for help to find someone and when they ask who, he might say his father. Before he could get into full detail like who his dad is, bill whould interupt him and someone convince him into keeping it a secret from them. The pines twins whould go along with phineas and ferb and the kids stay with stan and ford in the mystery shack. When the pines twins and the genius duo do find bill's statue, dipper and mabel will immediatly go shock mode and scream at the top of their lungs"BILL CIPHER IS YOUR DAD!?" And phineas whould just casualy reply "yes, you know him?". That's when dipper and mabel whould explain to phineas and ferb everything bill has done. Phineas the optimistic kid that he is, will be both shocked and horrified that the one that gave birth to him, that he wanted to bring back was a psychotic monster. I could also imagin he'd be in ptsp once he whould find out his entire purpose to exist was to bring the end of the world. I don't know how it will go forward after that but that's my idea how it whould happen.

(Jk jk, imagine though) 🤣

My head canon is that Rick Astley is Phineas’ father. When Dan Povenmire was asked who it was during his Doofenshmirtz Does What You Tell Him video series, he was about to say the answer when he was suddenly interrupted by a rickroll, which seems to me to be the answer! They both have red hair and a love of singing. Additionally, Linda was Lindana, meaning that she could have met him in the music business and fell in love. This could also explain how she met Lawrence in the U.K., as she probably toured with Rick in his home country often. But the long-distance marriage must not have worked out.
