@@hwstuder As a Gen-Xer, I had to Google "NPC slang meaning" ☺️: "NPC" is an abbreviation for "non-player character", a term from video games, that refers to a character that is controlled by the computer, instead of the player. In online discussions, debates, and political discourse, "NPC" is often used as an insult to criticize, or dismiss someone's arguments, or perspectives. It can imply that the person is unoriginal, lacks independent thinking, or blindly follows a predetermined set of beliefs, without questioning them. For example, someone might be called an NPC if they are seen as a follower, a minion, or a yes-man who doesn't have their own personality, or individuality. "NPC" can also be used as an internet meme to describe people who are thought to not think for themselves, or whose identity is determined by their surroundings, and the information they consume. The meme became more popular on TikTok in 2022, with the rise of "NPC streamers". However, some say that "NPC" can also be a way to recognize, be self-aware of one's place in the world. It could mean knowing that even if you play a more background role, you still matter.

I don't think Bill is trying to shield this kid from weed jokes, hes 16. That kid looks so awkward tho because he was brought on as a "kid" and so from his POV he has this 8 year old girl who is basically considered his "peer" because they're both children, when the reality is the 16 year old is basically an adult and can have an intelligent conversation. He's stuck getting asked dumb questions and then getting constantly interrupted by the 8 year old who clearly already has an ego from being a child actor and he just has to sit there and be polite about it. Poor kid lmao.

@@Reel-Therapy Most of these comments prove the point Bill has made before that conservatives used to be the uptight joy killers, but now it's the liberals. And I'm saying that as a liberal. I'm not saying a few parts of this weren't cringy, but to say that he was grooming these kids is insane. As far as the conversation about Modern Family, the spread between Ed ONeil and Sofia Vergara is 26 years. When that show started Ed was 62 and she was 36. I find it hilarious that the 10 year old thinks of a 62 old person as "really old", but that's how kids think. I have my issues with Bill, but some of the reaction to this is just crazy.

The very first minute...he is starting about parents and bedroom...OMG!

What's even weirder is that he just did a new rules segment on Real Time on the documentary that just came out on the decades of rottenness and grooming that came from and still comes from the adults around the kids in the entertainment industry / Hollywood. Many former child actors spoke out. I think it was a documentary on Netflix. He's literally behaving in the very way he just recently criticized. I don't get it. None of this makes any sense. Unless he really felt out of his comfort zone and was trying too hard to be "cool" and talk "real" with these kids. Being drunk didn't help his brain to kick in either. Or common sense if he has any. Too effing weird.
