Not just Sam, but all of the people in the "alternative" sphere that is somewhat difficult to define while self evident and obviously worthwhile voices of our age. Sam and others like them are fairly prolifically represented as a guest on an incredible number of podcasts and shows on the internet for an entire decade at this point. He's almost impossible to miss, provided you consume any of the extensive catalog of worthwhile free speech earnest modern media, and not just corrupt corporate mental junk food. Not knowing who Sam Harris is before November 2022 is jarring to hear. Again, I apologize if that seems rude, but it needs to be said. I hope this sparks a curiosity to come along for the ride. Better late than never. Again, I'm not even a big Sam Harris fan, his day in the sun was pre-2016 for sure. And there's a reason for that, as we all collectively get to know people's thought process and opinions over time. He has been found lacking by his greater audience over time, so it's ironic Bill loves him so much. Such is life, we evolve, as does the zeitgeist. Sam went easy on him. Also, he never understood the point Sam made about Giuliani manipulating the information time line to effect the election. Who cares that we heard it after the election when the person dropping the story (Giuliani) in the first place is attempting to manipulate the election? They (Republicans) did it successfully against Hillary & then they got blocked the second time around against Biden. Heres an idea, how about Republicans win an election on the strength of their candidate instead of muddying the waters 10 days prior to every election? Then no one needs to worry if info or stories r being suppressed.

@@friedricengravy6646 I agree with your assessment. I appreciate that Bill has self-focus on building immunity with his healthy eating, etc. as I started into nutrition, yoga meditation, etc. in 1973 as a kid. Was vegetarian/vegan a few years but as things evolved it proved not to be the best balance. My profession is with environmental business, designing 45+ years eco-communities, organic farms, food systems, restoring natural habitats and have a team of 8-10 people for that, all with degrees from architecture to naturopathic doctor. With that understanding for improving the ecology its when combining plants and animals together, when done properly is the most sustainable, contrary to what the current marketing of "eat veggies save the environment" has many people believing. On COVID though, I had three relatives succumb to it and did not survive. I have relatives and know several nurses who were on the front lines and very upset with Bill's mindset during the pandemic. I managed to dodge it for 2.5 years until just 2 months ago.....with one day of mild symptoms and in just a few hours of several of my work helpers being in the office (before I got a test) and I tested right there with two of the instant tests and it was positive. All went to masks and went home but, just from that brief exposure in the same office all tested positive and had symptoms the next day and one's spouse got it the day after that. If people wanted to "exercise their freedom" as Bill describes then fine.....just stay home and don't go near anyone. Anyone trying to deal with what to do about Covid as it spread had a hard job.

When I was 20, I had started practicing meditation on my own. 5 years into that, I hear about this guy Sam Harris, from BilI's show, and he's got a podcast. I was introduced to people like Dr. Jordan Peterson early on, Jocko Willink was one of the early guests as well, just to name a couple of the endless number of interesting people from different backgrounds he brings on his show. I still listen to Sam's podcast, and now to Club Random so it seems things have come full circle. I could not be happier, I was wondering who we were going to get tonight! Funny enough, the TDS sheep don't realize the reason why they hate Trump is because they were brainwashed by liars like Harris.
