I have seen about 30 concerts in my life mostly rock bands and when I went to see Bill play I knew he played the acoustic but I never expected this song. Of those 30 concerts this song left me in a state of awe. Hard to explain how it made me feel but 25 years later and I still can remember that feeling. I think it was the shock of such a beautiful composition and the mood I felt afterwards. Which was a sense of sadness but he goes back to the intro at the end and that part is uplifting.

As great as the song is, the way Mise is able to take the acoustic and in a sense, bend it to work on a song like this is masterful. I wish I had a tenth of his skill.

As much as I prefer the Walela version to sing along with (which I do every morning) this version by Bill Mize is the one to listen to at the end of the day. Very peaceful and masterfully performed. Respectful and easy on the spirit.
