What can be said that already hasn't been stated? Bill Nelson's style is unique and unmatched imo. Wonderful piece of music. This musician hasn't got the credit he surely deserves.

One of Bills very finest. I saw him do this live at Nelsonica 2012 - in York. . It was even better live. A true 'happening with tapes' and 'even more than international'. 😊

One of the greatest guitar players ever in my opinion!!! Eric Clapton may be a household name, but he couldn't step into Mr. Nelson's shoes even at the top of his legendary career. The CREAM doesn't always rise to the top it seems . . . .

hadn,t heard this untill recently, shame on me, Verdict, this man never ceases to amaze me this man should be a superstar, though he probably wouldn,t want to be him being so humble. The man is a musical genius. And probably in the top 5 guitar player,s ever.

opens and closes with e-bow. nelson was apparently adamson's role model for guitar playing within a song, setting him on the road to being a songwriter (as did punk). before that I think he aspired to be a r'n'b/blues soloist a la Rory Gallagher, i.e. with adamson's first band 'tattoo' that did cover versions, but that format/style wasn't really a vehicle for developing as a songwriter. some of the guitar lines here remind me of some of adamson's vocal lines (can't tell which), but this sounds a little closer to steve vai/joe satriani territory on guitar. I like the title of this unavailable cd: 'romance of sustain'. electric guitars sustain like violins and apparently with the e-bow could sustain indefinitely which is possibly why it wasn't necessarily user friendly. like how BC used it, though, now and then...nelson's use here is no doubt meant as a nod to that.

That Bill dexicated a song to Stewart is touching. Stewart was a major talent that Bill sheparded along in the beginning but of course ad a true talent he found fame if not some fortune. I'm sad that Stewart isnt stiĺl with us.
