Bill O'Herlihy and The RTE Panel's surprise message to groom on wedding day.

I had originally been hired by the couple as their wedding videographer early last year, but this special message was arranged by the Bride (Julie-Ann) and filmed at RTE studios by myself last October on the night of the Ireland v Germany game. We both had to keep this quiet for 6 months until the wedding day on the 26th April 2014!
I literally only had one shot, one chance and one take to get this right, with no rehearsal or script and literally less than 10 minutes before they went live!!
I would have been much happier having a third camera for the close ups, so I could have left the other two cameras roll on the one shot of Bill and the other on the 3 lads, but with such time and space constraints - I had to do what I could with the two (and as I had no script or rehearsal - I had to wing it on who was going to say what next!), so I hope you can forgive me for not getting it quite right (trust me - I'm kicking myself!).
But the lads were the consummate professionals, absolute gentlemen. And as for the crew? Just brilliant! I honestly thought that I'd be scorned at when I got there for basically getting in their way and disrupting their extremely tight schedule. But it was the complete opposite, where everyone there was well on board with what I was doing and gave me total support - absolute legends, and I mean that sincerely.
So anyway, may I give the sincerest of thankyous to Messrs. Bill O'Herlihy, Eamon Dunphy, Liam Brady & Johnny Giles, as well
as all the RTE 'The Panel' crew for their assistance in making this.
They were all absolutely epic from beginning to end, and I honestly cannot thank you enough.
Definitely a fantastic addition to anyone's wedding video anyway!
