From Jan 2008 to Jan 2009 the unemployment rate went up 2.9%. In one single year. Hannity keeps lowering the National Debt Numbers for Bush. Here are the real numbers. Bush increased the Debt by 4.8 Trillion on the books with 2 wars off the books and the first year of Obama's presidency was on the last Bush Budget. 2009 alone constituted another 1.7 Trillion added. Fully in line with the economy being in free fall when Bush left.

The problem with the Republicans trying to make his case is that they don't cut taxes enough. Its alright to say you will cut benefits if you say you will cut taxes for them. The complaining about free loaders doesn't work if they pay/paid taxes. Benefits are supposed to be a you pay now you get later deal. They forgot that when they think of it economically. They are no longer people who paid their fair share but rather numbers on how to get the economy better.

This is a fact, The economy went into a downturn after Clinton raised taxes. You might say we had a balanced budget under him. That is because republicans let the government shut down by a little bit. We also got real reform on entitlements. Obama spent 6 trillion dollars in 4 years. Bush spent 4 trillion in 8 years. Both is too much, but to say Bush and Bush only spent us into the fiscal cliff is idiotic.

Cutting taxes always work. See when you cut taxes it stimulates economic growth. When the Bush tax cuts were started unemployment shrank to(at its lowest level) to 4.4 %. Tax cuts on everyone always work.
