Dear Blll, don‘t worry about your beuatifull car. I own a 987.2 manual with 170000km on the clock. And it‘s still an amazing car. Let‘s drive them! Regulary maintence provided, I‘m pretty sure, these cars will give you pleausures till up 500000 km.

This is very interesting as one would think that a Porsche driving instructor would insist on a S instead of a base Cayman (I know he added the Sport module). Just goes to show that even a base Cayman is impressive.

I am assuming it has to do with that saying "better to drive a slow car fast as opposed to driving a fast car slow"? I guess you can get more out of the base model on everyday use as opposed to the S model.

just saw one of these gems, a manual with 20,000 on the clock, advertised for 60000. wouldn't be surprised if they get it either. my how times have changed in the past two years! william porter, eastman school of music? if so, i was a grad (1982) from your early days at New England Conservatory. taught theory and sight-singing as a undergrad with Dr. Hoffman. am the proud owner of a 2007 2.7l cayman 5-speed.

So nice Bill love you chose the PDK. great driving and lines. Mixing it with high horsepower cars! Do you fit track protection film to your car? I haven’t had any probs so far with stone chips but I generally don’t drive too close to other cars

very few base cayman manual come with this steering wheel(wo pedals). I think late 11' and 12' only could be with this steering wheel? Also i would ask you if it possible to add Porsche watch on model without sport crhono pack and aproximately which price would be? Thanks!

I like white. Why don't more owners save the window stickers? And all of the service records...I just don't get it. Nice find. By the way, Porsche says you can use chains on a Cayman...Can you imagine?

I feel really fortunate that the previous owner saved everything. Having a complete documented history of the car is really helpful when buying a used Porsche.

I bought a 2009 Boxster S last summer for 27,000 it had 38,000 miles on it at the time. It has a PDK ,19 inch wheels ,by zenon rotating headlights ,upgraded Porsche communication system and heated seats.
