The first movie was an icon, the second one, not so much. In the first one, Ted's dad asked the history teacher how Ted was doing. The history teacher tells him that Ted thinks Julius Caesar is that salad dressing dude.

Two movies are only 3 hours in total. And the story line is not that important for this series. That's not the point. The point is to enjoy how dumb, innocent and adorable these two young kids are. No need for a digest recap. We should watch the whole movie instead to see these two. It's a very fun movie, you won't regret spending 3 hours.

To those outside the US the movie is also a slice of the American dream, with the pie piece loaded with California dreams. Back when I was a kid California was a fabled place, full of sunshine, dreams, surfer "dude" culture. To those who can understand this would probably appreciate the movie more and understand it's humor. After living there myself I found the place to not be the utopia I imagined, but at least I can watch Bill and Ted and feel the nostalgia I used to feel. Also George Carlin is in the film (one of the best comedians ever).

I saw the first one with brother ,Like way back in the day on the big screen ,And did know what getting first getting into ,But it was awesome espeaillly with the opening song done by Big Pig ,I always love listing to that tune the opening. ,And I found out it is awesome. a movie to watch .Even after watching on home video at the time .But the second. one was not as great the first one at that time ,But did like when Bill & Ted went up against the Grim Reaper. most favourite. part of the movie .And the song done by Kiss that is played at the of movie .I hope there some really cool tunes in this new movie ,And I hope the new generation of kids will get .So they can party on !
