Back in the early nineties, I remember seeing Alex Winter as a guest on the Arsenio Hall show. Arsenio brought up the then upcoming series, and Alex basically just told the audience the truth, that the show just wasn't very good, and to avoid it. I remember him saying that they (the executives at Fox) initially wanted him and Keanu Reeves to come back, but then in their pitch telling them they wanted to make the humor more like the ''Porky's'' movies. Wisely Alex and Keanu passed.

Oddly enough, I remember the live action series but I have no memory of having ever actually watching it which is weird because I distinctly remember watch the Honey I Shrunk the Kids series but I have no memory of any of the episodes.

Is the NBC series “Eerie, Indiana” (appx 1991) considered a forgotten failure? My memory is that it was too clever to appeal to a large audience.

People said Frasier sucked while the people that liked it said you weren't smart enough to get it, did in fact suck like the big bang theory not being funny. So yes, your show Erie is a forgotten failure like the laugh tracks after comedic puns

IMDB indicates the series had 19 episodes, which is more than a lot of shows but it was not two seasons. I enjoyed the few episodes I remember watching. I liked the actor Jason Marsden in the role of Dash X. The series sure had a lot of different directors working on it. Do not know if that was intentional or one of the reasons the show failed.

Growing up I really enjoyed the Bill and Ted cartoon series. The first cartoon series with the original cast was really good. I was always confused as why they changed the cartoon. I had no idea that it was changed to coincide with the live action series. Just from the looks of it, the live action show seemed terrible and your right, it looks more like a SNL parody than a proper tv show.

What disturbs me is that the TV show Bill and Ted aren't playing Bill and Ted. They're playing "Alex and Keanu" playing Bill and Ted.

BUT it looks like he did actually do at least one film with Corey Feldman LOL he was also the Errol Flynn kid in the "kick the can" segment of the twilight zome film. which was my favorite segment, but EVERYONE else hated it and says it was the worst segment.
