My father said, “Life is all about the stories you can tell at the end.” Bill Watts is the epitome of that sentiment. This was a monumental show, gents. Thank you to all involved.🤘

Bill Watts 83 years old and still sharp as a tack, he presented wrestling the way it needs to be.

You mean maligning the dead for being speedheads and drunks and delusional lies about being able to kick everyone's ass now that they're all dead. Bill Watts isn't Old School he is an Old Fool

@@AmericanCombatAssoc That's your one sided, biased opinion. One can't deny, the contributions that Watts made to the wrestling business. Love him or hate him. Watts helped create many legends in this business

Thanks for having the legendary Bill Watts on the show! This was pure classic GOLD! Great wrestler, tremendous booker. One of the All Time Greats! From an Era when Men were Men and Wrestling was REAL! Glad to see Mr Watts is doing well, in strong health and mind! If I was rich enough to own a Wrestling Federation, I would ask Bill Watts to run it!!

I grew up on Bill Watts in Louisiana . He was North American champion when I first started watching Leroy McGuirk’s NWA Tri-State promotion . Then I really got into his MidSouth promotion by 1978 .

When Watts talked about God and the Bible I cried because he sounded just like my grandpa in law, a preacher from Oklahoma. Their accents are exactly the same! I think they are close to the same age too.

Great interview! I remember back in early 1986 when Bill Watts' Mid-South/UWF first started airing here in Philly featuring a young, fired-up Jim Ross, great action, and incredible pacing/editing to their programs.

He's done lots of interviews over the years. He's done several hours with Cornette alone. Haven't you even heard of them? He'd even do interviews with Wade Keller in the Torch Yearbooks, each over 20 pages long...and that was in the early 90s.

Bruce Baumgardner was an assistant coach at Oklahoma State and did not beat Dr Death.....the two bedlam matches they referenced were 1) the "riot" was when Dr Death bit David Hille and was dq'd...the other 2) was Mitch Shelton, when osu was down by 3 points, all Dr Death had to do was win ir draw, but his ego made him try to shoot on the 400 pound Shelton, Shelton just flopped onto Doc, stunned him, turned abd pinned him for the OSU win. ....no one left Gallagher Hall for over an hour....

Watts needs to know that when he gets on the religion about half of the people’s eyes glaze over and the other half swipe to something else. Nothing wrong with being a religious man but not everyone wants to hear a sermon. Maybe I’m wrong in saying that. Idk it just seems that if you were that religious you wouldn’t let Grizzly run amok on little girls all those years. And you know he had to know something
