Both men have been known to lie... for different reasons... Brutus is deadset on putting himself and Hogan over at any cost - deflecting criticism and making up grandiose and unbelievable tall tales (minus Hogan's natural charisma and gift of gab). Cornette is deadset on protecting anyone who made him money/likes personally/is a direct blood relative of the latter two and degrading anyone he ever had an argument with/feels makes a foil for his online character. Yet, if Corny is neutral on the people involved, he can be a reliable historian with an excessively long memory and vast knowledge of wrestling's past (with the obligatory embellishments here and there for the sake of making a better story) . And Brutus? Well... Brutus can't counted on to remember what he had for dinner last night save for the blow he had for dessert.

He was seriously injured that required surgery on his face. But Vince should made another effort to put the belt on him. In fact, Jake the snake was suppose to win the belt also. Unfortunately, he was frequently in rehab. Honky Tonk man was never suppose to hold the belt that long. It just turned out that way because Jake couldn't stay sober and beefcake's horrific beach accident. I still believe Vince should've called beefcake in as a surprise guess to cut his hair in the "battle of the billionaires" between Bobby Lashley and Umaga.

Wrestling can be compared to so many other things, acting is probably the best example. It’s the ability to get the public to believe and to care about the outcome of the character. Doing a string of moves is irrelevant, it doesn’t evoke a reaction and a sense of care to the hero. That’s why meltzer and Brett can say all the nonsense they want but they’ll never understand, how can anyone actually grade a match? To do so especially when you don’t understand what pro wrestling really is is beyond stupid. It’s the equivalent of going to the circus but only liking the acrobats, then scoring the lion tamer based on his acrobatic ability….. it makes no sense…. Watch him on Donaghue and you will see clearly the permed up Dave doing his best Dustin Hoffman rainman impression but that’s who he is… Made a living off killing kayfabe and storylines…. To even mention a name that is copyrighted owned makes me wonder how he’s been able to use their names and likeness to make his fortune… terrible abuse of this industry

3:46:53 I’m looking at the title Robin Green becomes woman and I’m thinking isn’t Robin Green a NFL player WCW brought in (I know nothing about the NFL and only NFL players I know are ones who did wrestling & OJ Simpson) an he’s had a sex change. Then I read the bits below and see Robin Green was Nancy Sullivan/Benoit

according to book sean wrote years ago, very. it's an early morning shoot, pretty sure brutus was on no sleep (and 100 percent on something). according to sean, buff bagwell was the most messed up they ever shot (1997 wcw timeline, so far gone they scrapped it, brought in nash later to do it), beefcake was the most messed up of anyone they were able to get something out of (sounds like as bad as beefcake looks here, he was in much worse shape condition about an hour before they started. wrap your head around that bit for a second).

@@mfm4205 yeah, the Bagwell shoot is legendary. He ripped Sean off pretty bad, then later once he got clean he big timed him, saying he had his own podcast and also someone else was doing a documentary on him at the time, I think. So he denied Sean even though he owed Sean not only money but time and production costs for the useless garbage shoot he did that was so bad they couldn't even use it! What a carny asshole.

Ted being judged as a worker by beefcake. That’s like asking a three year old to judge a Michelangelo or Caravaggio.

Wow somehow Beefcake makes every question about him. He says on or two things about the question and then turns it about him. Arrogant bastard isnt he. He said Rock stars wanted to be him back in the day ya ok dude.

I could listen to Corney all day. I appreciate the Beefcake timeline but whoevers idea to splice these and other videos together, please stop. I get it, two videos for the price of one...no more please. It's a brutal watch.

What’s funny about the contract negotiations around 2hr mark. If Jim would’ve just said take the 50 grand you are giving me “I didn’t ask for” and give 25k to each of them, reducing my pay down to 100. They probably would’ve gotten their 150k a piece lol. So loyalty to a point would be more correct. Jim wasn’t going to give up 50 grand a year to give to his pals.

For all the flack Ed Leslie gets, he epitomizes what the entertainment side of wrasslin was at the time. Charismatic, Uber popular, not the best in ring worker, but, could make it look good when needed. Would've at least liked to have seen him have TV & US Title reigns in WCW. He survived a horrific injury.. Cornette is a legit legend, nuff said.

Beefcake was as over as some people like to pretend I can easily recall shows where he was bottom of the card as the barber and crowds were dead then went nuts for the killer bees those shows were in New York New Jersey and Pennsylvania where I frequented in the mid to late 80s the best was when he forced fans to slap his hands walking down the aisle in Allentown Pa he was grabbing the women’s wrists and smacked his own hand with theirs

I’ll still say that Brett is more delusional than beefer…. It’s one thing to remember things more favourably than it actually was but to believe the hype of wrestling when your in it is madness, to think you were actually a world champion, that your the best there is because your the champion even tho you know opponent have literally had to take a dive…. That he’s been told to lose and to allow you to win…. Also whenever he had to lose even at sunmerslam with bulldog, he put himself over, instead of make his opponent look like a monster and a greater fighter he actually made it look as if his opponent got lucky…. He puts himself over and has done nothing but shit on the legacy of everyone else. To say the things he has about Davey, Owen, Owen’s wife…. Shows he’s a complete fool. He had 100s of concussions over the years and blames the last one he got as the career ender…. That kick from Goldberg wasn’t even that stiff, Brett actually leaned into it… no weight behind it but he’ll hang his hat on that regardless, then having a stroke months later he also blamed on it, not that he’d started back on the juice again because everyone was allowed in wcw….
