Coq au vin is a French dish of chicken cooked in wine (traditionally a way of making tough old roosters taste delicious) and mushrooms and pearl onions and crisp bacon. It is pronounced, coke - oh - vahn.

If you like Royal Caribbean food, you would love Celebrity's food. Same company but Celebrity is considered a 'Premium' Line and the food is excellent. Love this series.

Another great video!!! You guys are so cute! We also went on Navigator of the Seas in late January when the NFC championship game was on. They showed it on the big screen on the pool deck and we watched quietly while our Niners lost to the Rams. Of course we were surrounded by Rams fans. It was fun though cause we had our fill of ice cream cones! And my 97 year old mother loved cheering on the Rams, forgetting that she was a 49er fan! The cruise was so much fun. My daughter was the adventurous one. She did the water slides, rock climbing and flow rider. My mom and I, we just watched and cheered her on. We don’t drink or gamble so we never visited the bars and just passed thru the casino. We loved going to the trivia events and won twice. Won $90 at Bingo. Went to the headliner shows but the best of all was the ice show in Studio B. That was amazing! We went to Windjammers every day for brunch, my time dining for dinner and Cafe Promenade for afternoon snacks of fruit, mortadella, sandwiches and pizza to bring to the trivia events. Funny that they served coq au vin on Chinese night. Maybe it’s because at one time the French did colonize in Shanghai. Coq au vin is a French chicken stew with mushrooms, bacon lardons and garlic and is cooked in a burgundy wine sauce. It’s pronounced “coke au van”. So, great video! Always enjoy watching your videos. Your food tours make me hungry!!!

That was variety of food. You made the most lunch. The Mexican food looks good. Seafood is a must try. The steak and fish probably the best meals. Hello, fun vid. Makes you want to go! Lisa is trying tocino at breakfast which is a Filipino style pork and the coq a vin is a french style of stewed chicken with wine, herbs, bacon, pearl onions and usually mushrooms. It is sometimes phonetically pronounced " coco van".

Ah yes, all you do is eat around the clock! I don't know what they put in the soft serve ice cream but it's so good and addictive. It's never open all day but as soon as they start filling up the ice cream machine, a line forms quickly! They could never fill it fast enough. I would always get one after every meal.. HAHA! I actually love how empty the dining areas are (or the ship actually) especially during these times. Congrats on your winnings!
