Guys, thanks so much... I'm hosting my cousins from Paris for a week then Vegas and San Francisco, San Diego and we were at the Queen Mary/ Long Beach area and I didn't want to take them to a "chain style" eatery. I saw you had gone to The New York Deli in Torrance and decided to take them there. So good, Lisa I had the 3 salad sandwich and we split a Ruben pastrami, corned beef and chopped liver between 6 of us. We ordered 1 order of latkes and had to order 2 more orders. Also took 4 sandwiches home with potato and coleslaw. Thank you so much for your vlogs.. They're here till October 15th and we're going to try some of your Vegas Strip/ off Strip suggestions too. We had Billy’s Deli in Glendale that closed after 67 years. It got eaten up by big business. Best smoked salmon slices, best matzo ball and chix soup. I would combine the two soups and it would cure any ailment.

at 11:58, you can see what most deli’s do, yes, its a nice ball of meat, but its all in the middle. so it looks like even more than it is, but hey, its all good, but i usually spread it out to the ends of the sammy so i dont get bites of just bread and finally the meat. love your videos! so glad i found you guys.

My husband is Jewish and said everything looked amazing. We had our grandkids over for traditional food - latkes, homemade applesauce, matzoh ball soup, etc. One of our grandsons said, "Nana, I like these ball things, let's get me some more, please?" When I worked at that Innout at Crossroads, I'd always pass that New York Deli. In all my years of staring at that plaza, it is time I give them a shot. Especially because Lisa got their tuna. I absolutely love tuna sandwiches. I live local to Torrance so I'm glad you are both venturing out to places that have been here for years and places that have been here for months. Oh and Lisa was correct. Costco's sushi was darn good. Better than Whole Foods in terms of that crunch roll. Curious though, what is your original Pho place? I wanna go there next.

Hi Bill! Hi Lisa! You folks are so lucky! The south bay has such amazing restaurants! I’m such a huge fan of pho, so both of your bowls looked so delicious. I would so take the drive down there, just for that. I’d have to try and decide which one to choose though. Hi Bill and Lisa! Oh no poor Bill! When I was a young kid I used to get laryngitis often now I know due to my severe environmental allergies and lose my voice for a week…my aunt would make a very hot tea and add honey and lemon…but her secret ingredient is to add fresh ginger! But she would tower over me until I drank it all straight. So to this day that’s why I do…also I add a zinc tablet separately on the side to help things more quickly! Hope you feel better! I tell people this concoction but not everyone likes ginger! But it helps usually a day or two voice is back depending how strong and it you drink it more often. But my aunt would make it so strong that it clears my throat in a day and my voice was always worse than yours, I would sound like a frog! Thanks for making a video even though you are not feeling well…now when I feel off I pour the hottest hot sauce on my soup or other food and let the sinuses drain and let throat sizzle. Drink lots of fluids to hydrate not alcohol that will dehydrate you! And you can run cool a cool mist humidifier with a a few drops of essential oil…Thanks Lisa for the reviews on all the yummy food!!! Get well soon!

Wow that soup place looks amazing! And best thing is I live about a 1/4 of a mile away off Normandie and 160th. That Mom’s Touch chicken place is actually good. If you guys want to try amazing Korean fried chicken, try Love Letter Fried Chicken and Pizza on Western I think it is off of Redondo Beach Blvd. Another good one is BB.Q Chicken on Artesia and Western right next to a Jersey Mike’s in that strip mall with the Albertson’s. BB.Q is a chain and damn good, but I think Love Letter is better. Perhaps you need to do a Korean Fried Chicken crawl. Still waiting on that Dirt Dog to open up in that mall. I think Snoop owns it. There was a Jewish deli in north New Jersey that had the most incredible Pastrami and corned beef! The owner passed away in 2006 and they deli closed after 50 years. I still miss that place! Love your channel!

I love 😍 NY deli even though I live in Vegas since 2003 but I am from upstate NY 🗽 on the Northeastern side north east from the NYC 🗽 love our foods but I will be going back to NY to visit my Dad cause he has cancerso he wants me to fly in to see him and help with some radiation treatments and to see my 92yr old grandmother who still has the NY ATTITUDE 😂 BUT she's 💯 Italian New Yorker and she really doesn't look that old 🧓 anyways its nice to see you guys today on updated video 📹 have a great day

This is such a great video guys. Lisa has become an expert in matzoh ball soup and latke reviews. They both looked legit. Garlic noodles were invented in San Fran and are delicious. Easy to make at home. Oxtail pho is the bomb. We have a local viet place here called Oxtail Pho. That’s how good and special it is. 👍👍

Dang, I still haven’t been to NY deli, probably since I’m originally from NYC and Katz’s has me so spoiled. Have you two been to NY China Buffet on PCH near Hawthorne? It’s not the greatest but gets the job done. One of the better China buffets.
