End of 6th grade... moving to the HS building in September, Going from being 'the big kids' to being 'the little kids,' 6th grade dinner dance, 6th grade trip to Knoebels, last Field Day, last time KNOWING who you got for a teacher next year... So many memories. I miss those days.

I loved watching this video compilation. It actually transports me back to that time where I was just a month away from graduating from John Bartram High School.

Man music was allover the place in the early 90s. I don't even remember half of these songs though. Guess I had my nose stuck in my books in college.

Only about 10 tracks were hits in Australia. Amazing how different our charts were. Here in Oz we were heavily influenced by the European market and we had plenty of our own home grown talent to fill in the gaps. For example Mariah Carey only had two hits from her debut. Vision of Love and Love Takes Time. The other singles Someday, I Don't Wanna Cry, There's Got To Be A Way, were not hits. Wilson Phillips only had one Hit. Hold On, no other songs from their album made the top 50. Whitney went top 10 with I'm Your Baby Tonight, but had no further successful singles from the same titled album.

Oh Gosh, I have forgotten how Crystal Waters, Cartouche and Daisy Dee were horrible in those times ! Rap/Hip-Hop and R&B (which was called New Swing Jack in these days) also began to take too much space in the charts (even in the Top albums worldwide). Being said that, even if there are a lot of sings I don't like; at least there were still some real musicians WITH REAL instruments and there are in this charts some likeable songs with memorable mélodies (at least, for my ears).
