Funny fact about Morgan Wallen's Last Night despite spending 16 weeks at #1 on the Billboard 100(same as Despacito") and more than songs like I will Always Love You, I Got A Feeling and Uptown Funk. Last Night has only charted in 7 offical charts globally meaning that unlike the songs that I mentioned above it isn't a global hit and really only doing well in the US.

I think the awards are based off of the actual charts throughout the year, which would explain why certain people won. Although I barely even know who Morgan Wallen is, his song was #1 or a total of 14 weeks, making it one of the longest running #1 songs.

it is in fact not surprised that Morgan won a lot coz Billboard based on figures, and somehow many country people listen to him. i'm not saying is a good thing or a bad thing on him, all i know is Billboard cut the tracking period to 49 weeks and those 3 weeks are #Midnights first 3 weeks. That's why Billboard 200 album not belongs to her...and maybe also Hot 100 artist...
