Absolutely love this 80’s week by week countdown. Thank you! Will you be doing the same for the 70’s or 90’s?

NKTB followed the boy band map to perfection....get 20 something guys to "sing" mediocre songs to turn on teenage girls... release as many singles as you can before these children wise up and see how bad the music is....put the money in the bank...break up... live off your fame....then 30 plus years later sing the same songs as middle aged men and make more money for those fans to live off nostalgia....well done 👍

@@gersonabriam7233 "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind)," which has enough falsetto in it to also be a Bee Gees song, went up 13 spots to #25. NKOTB's other risin' song, "Cover Girl", went up 4 spots to #15. It'll be interestin' to see which one would prove to be the BIGGER hit.

I'm honestly surprised how well both NKOTB songs did as I don't recall either getting much airplay on pop radio. It could just be my local pop radio station.

@jonborchardt5548 It could have been a Bee Gees song. But the falsetto was inspired by the original version from The Delphonics back in 1970.

@@MrShortWhiteGuyZ100 and WPLJ 95 were playing both of these NKOTB tunes big time back then.

Dino is the definition of a well below mediocre “singer”/“artist.” Like Stevie B.
