Hello guys! Today I share with you again a transcription of Django Reinhardt, this time "Billet Doux", I recently uploaded a transcription of the same song but performed by Angelo Debarre, check out that version which is fantastic too. For this video I uploaded the audio at +0.10 cents so that it can be played with standard tuning. We already know that many Django songs have a small tuning difference. Any top class guitarists can learn this tune note perfect. But there is something intangible and unexplainable about Django,s playing that can never be copied

Totally agree. I mean, even the audio quality isn't good, today we have outstanding audio quality, but Django had a special magic. I can't explain what it is. The magic is not in the notes, because I heard Stochelo playing exactly the same notes and it's not the same. I guess it's magic.

Hey man too much GJ for my taste. Guess I’ll have to unsubscribe, they are wonderful musicians but can’t you expand a bit. Wish you well and happy to support your work when you cover more bebop. You can’t please them all, I know I know and I’d be a better player if I did my own transcriptions 😀

Hi! yes, as you said it's impossible to keep everyone happy. I always try to upload one gypsy jazz tune and one bebop tune, so GJ fans are just as unhappy as bebop fans, haha. I guess it's not possible for me to keep everyone happy, sorry.
