The paper is expired, I have one too as a collector. It all depends on the recipt paper, the device is fine. Just run down to a store, ask for a line of blank paper, cut to size and insert it again. Works best if you cut a pointed tip to insert into the gameboy camera. It all depends on the paper. You can order some specially for that size if you want. Recipt paper uses a chemical that goes black with heat, so it doesn't burn into the paper, just warms the chemicals. And it might fade with time. Just like how the chemical on original gameboy paper doesn't work really anymore.

For PS Vita recommendations without Persona there's pretty much a few basic recommendations that I give everyone whose got one of these accursed things. The only problem I've had with the Vita is that a lot of the best games are ports that you could just play on a PS3/4 which has made it a bit of a pointless handheld as time goes on lol Either way, this is my basic list - Digimon Cyber Sleuth (+/or Hacker's Memory, I played both) if you've not played it yet somehow. - Zero Escape: The Nonary Games - Steins;Gate - Atelier Escha and Logy Plus - Gravity Rush - Uncharted: Golden Abyss There's a little bit of everything in there, so hopefully at least one of these might suit you!

The cameras and motion controls just makes me think of VR gaming which then makes me think about how one day VR gaming will just be you reenacting playing regular games using VR controllers/headset in real life but in game it's you with a regular game controller looking at a tv.

I worked for an app developing company, the main developer and I shared a love of Yu-Gi-Oh and got talking about the lack of AR support for the game, I mean like you said, it’s not something thats hard to do and the game lends itself to it! So we actually developed an app for it and BUILT stands for a phone or tablet, you were able to actually lay your cards down in front of the phone and see your monsters appear on the field, as well as the other persons, it required 2 phones or 2 tablets or one phone and one tablet, connected via Bluetooth, with plans to allow remote play over WiFi in the future, we contacted Konami? I think? And told them that we had developed this app and asked if they’d be interested in hiring us or buying the idea and softwares... after the initial automated response we waited a further 6 months for a response, working on the app the whole time and having A LOT of fun with it! When they got back to us it was to say that they had no plans to develop such a game and ordered a cease-and-desist on any developments or dissemination of said softwares under threat of legal action... By that point we had a pretty much fully working app, I mean it ran on everything from apple devices, android and even windows tablets! All the animations had been finished and we’d even managed to stitch together most of the audio which we’d essentially ripped mostly from KZbin videos... It was gorgeous! We did plan on re-designing the app under a different name and selling it ourselves with the simultaneous release of a card collection franchise... Unfortunately the amount of reworking the app required was immense and we had several big pushes at work one after the other so it shelved and forgotten about...

One thing that's interesting with the Dreameye is that it was bundled with the Diver 2000 CX-1, a TV with a built in Dreamcast seemingly made for communication; the idea was that the Dreameye would be used as a Webcam so you could video chat using your TV, I assume to make it more convenient, but I'm not sure if said video chat service was ever released, since there seems to be at most two games for it, and the only one I know anything about it Visual Studio, and I didn't see anything about video chat functionality for that, so unless it's the other one, DreamPhotoFun, I don't know what software could allow for video messaging.

As a PS Vita owner, you have got to play "Soul Sacrifice". It's a pretty wild Japanese rpg style game with all the fun grindy elements to make spells even more insane!
