51000 views and only 50 ratings. As pool players and fans of the game we should be rating these videos as much as possible. The sport of pool is a wonderful game and needs more exposure. Getting even only one of BClub's videos featured would give them the recognition they deserve for the hardwork they put into making these.

Ismael Paez is one of the greatest players I have ever seen, and one of the greatest players I have ever played against. The man is a champion, and a legend.

These guys are so good. I get access to some nice pool tables for free and get to work on my game every now and then. I wish I could be this good. I wonder how long it takes to master this game in the way they have. What kind of shots do you have to practice.

What a crazy game. Sick three rail shot, very nice jump shots, lots of unforced errors and self-snookering. probably one of the most exciting games I'll ever see.

Increible lo que fallaban estos dos, el juego de Páez era rudimentario pero le daba resultados y mika era bastante joven aun, apesar de todo bonito duelo.

I can relate to the pressure these guys are feeling. I have had tournaments where I couldn't miss through 3 or 4 matches, then I get down to the money and I can't make straight in shot from 3 feet away. I love the game. So unpredictable in it's nature.

Having played pool for years and loving it...and at the same time sucking bad at snooker... I still maintain that just from the looks of it snooker is a lot more demanding. Pool tables tend to forgive a lot more than snooker tables. Not to mention that the potting angles are a lot harder in snooker, and the position shots must be spot on... But then again... comparing snooker and pool is like comparing baseball to cricket. Different sport similar equipment

Most of what youre saying is true but, positional play is more important in snooker. With Snooker, once youre out of position, you have to go for a safety shot, in order to keep "safe". In Pool its not so much an issue, the majority of players will have the option to chip/jump shoot or double/bank to get out of problems, the latter being something rarely seen in snooker and jump shots, never seen (illegal shot).
@Thijs-Kuiken17 жыл бұрын
I like the commercial at 31.00 where Earl makes this amazing shot! When he shoots there are two balls resting on top of the table.. when the cueball rolls back... they're gone haha.. I imagine someone rolling a white ball while Earl takes this cool stance.. great shot though!

Wow, That rack girl. Anyway I figured Mika was gonna own this guy. That guy plays good but Mika figures hes got the best of it and hes not gonna let this chump take it from him. This guy is bringin out the best in Mika tho. I like it. I like seeing them old timers play. They arent as composed as the pros today and it reminds me of seeing guys on the road. You find all types of different players on the road. But they can all get out. If they're willing to bet you big money then you know its probably not gonna be a gimme. But I love it when a guy brings out the best in me. It's like I'm watching someone else play. I wind up playing over my own head and it's like I'm possessed. Possessed by a pool God. I love it. Soon as I post this Mika leaves 9 hangin in the corner to let this guy tie it up lol. Idk I'd still bet on Mika. Hell catch a gear and run the set out.. or grind it out but either way my moneys on Mika. Oh yah

being good at pool isnt just being able to run balls out. its about how good your safeties are, how good your ball controll is, how good your shot making is, its all of these things combined, if you are an all around good player youll definitely be able to beat a guy whos only strength is shot making. dont make such a foolish comment . because anyone who knows the game of pool knows its not just being able to run balls out.

@nkro16 жыл бұрын
I disagree. I have played both snooker and pocket billiards and I would say that players at their level wouldn't have much difficulty making the transition. Snooker may pose some challenges, but you must remember that half of the shots taken are from the same spot-- this of course makes them easier to practice.
@berylman17 жыл бұрын
Paez's stroke reminds me of my own before I made a conscious effort to change it, a short-range high-acceleration jab stroke. Fundamentally there is nothing wrong with it, just looks awkward and is hard to get the stroke speed right. Other than that he has a very sound, respectable game worthy of study.

well now that i see this over and over again, whatever stroke you use doesn't matter as long as you find it consistent in pocketing balls. it's a 'what ever floats your boat' kinda thing.
@Crazi-G16 жыл бұрын
you can't compare pool an snooker in terms of difficulty. there're way too many variables. like the cloth for one thing. cloth on a snooker table changes the effects of english depending on which direction you hit the cue ball. and the position plays are usually pretty straight forward due to the respotting of the 'coloured' balls. pool is more random in terms of position play. each to their own, i say. like comparing apples and oranges.
@Ryoko5415 жыл бұрын
These commentators are a trip. "Well you just go and hit it off the rail *hits it directly with draw* ...or you can draw it" "One of my fav layouts, you hit the 8 with a stop *Hits 8 with a draw* .. or you can draw it too" Its like they do everything opposite of what that dude says hahah.

ya its a much much easier game i play both it just sickens me to hear them go oh ya was a great shot for something not even acknowledged in snooker or man these pockets are tights when you can hit the side cushion shooting down the table and the ball still go in !!!!!!!! i know it its a hard game in itself and i do enjoy playing it but they make it out to be much more than it is
@Benjamin__C16 жыл бұрын
Anybody else thinks Immonen looks identical to Michael Rosenbaum (lex luthor from smallville)? I'd say snooker is harder in terms of potting balls (smaller balls, smaller pockets), and since the average layman is concerned with potting balls in billiards most people think snooker is harder than pool. but on a professional level, the skills in positional play are much more important in pool than snooker; in snooker, you are mostly concerned with the lower half of the table (near the black)

In case you missed the first part of my post, I was responding to the guy ranting about how pool is easy compared to snooker. And you've obviously never played straight pool, or you'd know that it takes a hell of a lot more than good shot-making to be able to run 100 balls. So get back to the practice table and spare me the foolish reply.

OK new rule... whenever someone insults pool, dont respond. Thumb them down. There is no earthly reason they would come to an hour-long pool video and insult pool, except to make someone angry. Trolling for angry comments isn't something you respond to, because trolls WANT angry comments. So don't respond to the snooker people.

Just because snooker cues are longer than pool cues, it doesn't mean that snooker is more of a 'man' sport. You can boast all you want comparing the two but in the end it's like comparing religion to science. It'll go on in a never ending cycle of conflict to the point where no one gives a shit. If you don't like the game, watch snooker on youtube and comment there. No haters/biters please.
