I remember she called him out at a speech not so subtly so he would get the idea but I don't think he realised she wasn't having such a great time. Even though she told everyone it was amazing you could easily tell she hated it. The Jimmy Fallon interview was much calmer and they were talking about injuries. That shows Kimmel was doing something wrong
