Can you imagine? I have a daughter, just thinking about seeing my kid accomplish something like that makes me tear up. They have so much to be proud of their kids for, they raised wonderful, talented human beings who are still so down to earth even after all their success. Had they not invested in their kids, had they not gave them a home to explore and practice their passions and talents, they would not be there. What a great thing they did for their children, if only all children were so lucky to be supported and trusted.

@@johnbegay4012it is not a song about a ‘plastic doll’. The song relates to billie and a lot of others suffering with mental health issues such as depression and other mental health issues so no it it’s not a song about a ‘stupid plastic doll’ it’s an empowering song that makes people feel recognised because the song is so relatable. please read the lyrics of the song because they have a deeper meaning and know that billie struggles with depression herself makes it even deeper because she wrote it about her life.a person like you who can’t relate to this song at all does not give you any right to say what you want about a song that has a deeper meaning rather then it being a ‘stupid song from a stupid movie’ when in fact the movie aswell as the song relates to so many people on so many different levels that you cannot comprehend so for you to think you have the right to say what u want about a song u clearly do not understand doesn’t mean it’s stupid.

You can't be "proud" of someone you have no connection to. You can be impressed etc, but not proud. People misuse that word a lot recently.
@deathbloom279 ай бұрын
@@terri6854 Language changes constantly, it's fluid. Some definitions say "someone you're closely related to" and others just say "someone you know" or "someone you are connected to." Many people feel connected to artists through their art, it's an emotional experience so of course they'll feel some type of connection to them. Besides, arguing semantics over word use when EVERYONE knows exactly what they meant is just absurd. It accomplishes nothing. There are groups for that, full of people who enjoy debating proper word usage and grammar and all sorts of syntax related conversations. That would be a far more appropriate place to discuss this. I think if people were more concerned with the appropriate time and place to discuss these things than they were with appropriate syntax, the world would be a little bit better off.
