Billie Jean represents a groupie who targets him as the father of her son. He’s pretty defiant about the child not being his despite him dancing with her in the round (aka sleeping with her). When he says “for 40 days and for 40 nights the law was on her side” he’s struggling with the courts to prove he isn’t the father - but later, even tho he keeps declaring his innocence, his paranoia/guilt creeps in as referenced by him seeing a photo and believing the baby has eyes like his. I’ve read a few analyses of this song & there’s more metaphoric references that I cant recall.😅 The song is brilliant and you did a great job interpreting it! It took me years to get it. Sad to say I never really looked at the lyrics of his music until after his passing.

The video is another story, all together, it's masonic ritual with masonic symbols all thru the video, the black, white & red themes, Everything MJ touches illuminates, the brick wall, MJ making shhhh!!! sign to the elderly lady, the tiger, he turns invisible at the end of video, 2 women on the billboard. Corrupting the homeless man. There's more. Michael Jackson in this video is a (Fallen Angel) who appears to be good, & do false Wonders/Miracles. Unbeknownst to MJ, this was his initiation into the Hollywood occult of entertainment and how they do things hidden and in plain sight.

Fun fact about the tiger in the video at the end, the thriller album cover of him in the white jacket is a smaller version of the original picture. In the original there’s a tiger in the pic and the little tiger print hanky is in his front jacket pocket in the album cover

Really this reaction is very funny and cute. You need to know about the story of this song . Actually in his real life a girl claims that he is the father of her two sons but Michael denied it. And she sued him for this but at the end she was arrested by the police and confessed that she was lying and her son's DNA didn't match with Michael DNA so she was in jail for 4 years to claim him. And he wasn't proved their Daddy or biological father of her kids. So after that incident Michael wrote his story into song lyrics and sang it well and got hit.

In his book 'moonwalk', he told that it had happened to his brothers and that he used to be really amazed by it. Later on in life, he still couldn't understand how these girls could lie about something like that.

My take on the Music video is that Michael knows that wherever he goes or wherever his name goes, there is going to be attention (hence everything he touches lights up) Also the reporter/investigator/ stalker is trying to catch him slipping so he can get a story on Michael but Michael disappears in the photos because it’s all a lie. People are making up things and trying to get stories in the news. Just like the actual Billie jean situation!!

sometimes a singer also uses certain words just bc they "feel right in that line" but do not make that deep of a sense...ppl already explained the meaning of BJ to u i can see. One more thing though is also there is a movie with Fred Astaire whom he did hommages to a lot too (the whole video is kind of some sorts of hommage to that part of a Astaire movie) and in that movie Astaire is the dancer and lets a black boy clean his shoes...but yet here is Michael as a black grown man polishing his own shoe (is kind of a message in hidden: self empowerment). Part of the greatness with MJ is there is always another layer and another to discover and find...even years down the line

While we danced on the floor in the round is a reference to most likely studio 74 as michael would always party and dance there so they dances around then she called him to her room! If you follow yes as others have mentioned it was about groupies. But it also may be pertaining another paternity issue michael had (not really in public talk after his death) This woman Miki Howard(, a singer) and Michael are believed to have a son whos name is Brandon howard. (, one of michaels deceased brothers name) he was born just right before thriller in April of 1981. And, He is quite close to the family etc.. ,,l( let's just say there's ALOT of information on that to look up😅) but, they were believed to date from the summer of 80 till sometime late 81 or early 82. After he finished dating Stephanie mills in early 1980. The song is quite crazy to discipher to a T.
