I'm so proud of Billie. He's back to being the energetic, charismatic, inspiration, somewhat-offensive-but-still-lovely twat he was, before the drugs and rehabilitation. He's come a long way, and all I can say is that I look forward to seeing them in concert, because there really is a change in the atmosphere when he and even Mike and Tre are all sober.

I never said they were "always sober." My description was meant to coincide with Billie Joe's pretty obvious humor in this clip, while also reflecting that this was one of his first live performances since rehab. Punk is what you make of it, and the argument over "what punk is," is too old and ridiculous to even matter. Sorry if you were unable to comprehend my description. If that was challenging, I can't imagine what you understand from this comment.

Yeah... Don't I know it. Second time this has happened to me and both have been when I'm in front of Mike. The bass seems to distort everything like crazy. Sorry for that! :-)
