After listening 10000000 times, I *love* how sarcastic and derogatory the first half is ("immediately" "if I ever was"), and then changes, hinging on the repetition of "then you moved on," with the second half being a celebratory AND SO HAVE I THANK GOD. "You were so mediocre" is maybe her harshest line in all three albums and I LOVE it.

The switch-up…. Is sooo about the girl (Devon) who dated the same dude as her that she felt guilty about in Wildflower…. And now BOTH OF THEM are over him, are friends and just raggin’ on him and what an a-hole he was… and BOTH OF THEM are glad that they’re over him. The lyrics in “his song that he wrote about Billie” are so foul and also talks about how his girl was a fan of her’s… he’s a piece of poo fo’ sho’. Billie’s song, this one, I feel is like her anger/denial song about the relationship… because this whole album is the history of a romantic relationship (& I think stages of grief) along with other relationships in her life such as her brother( Birds of a Feather), Diner (her stalker-coming up soon), Skinny (her fans, herself)… this album is just so complete and definitely AOTY…. Every time i listen to it I find something new.

For me, the second part of this song is part of the album. By that I mean some songs don’t hit me the right way (that wasn’t on purpose haha, but that just shows how perfect the title is for this album) unless it’s while I’m playing the whole thing. Her and Finneas did an amazing job with the transitions. They capture you and keep you. I highly recommend once you’re done with the reactions to listen to the whole album from start to finish.
