Billie is such a ray of sunshine. Like she has the same dry humor as Carrie, but it is not really ahole at all like she said, it is actually very refreshing. I've loved watching interviews of Billie since SQ S1 because she, like her mother, always make the interviews so interesting and different. She doesn't pretend or fake anything, she seems so honest. I just really love Billie, I was so worried about her when Carrie and Debbie died, but she definitely inherited the strong resilient woman gene from them. I'm so happy to see her doing ok.

I have never seen or heard Billie Lourd until I watched this clip. One of my earliest childhood memories is watching Debbie Reynolds and Jane Powell in "Hit The Deck." I thrilled to "Tammy and the Bachelor" in 1958 and I still have the 45 record of the title song. I wrote Elizabeth Taylor a nasty letter when she ran off with Eddie Fisher (I'm ashamed to say, but Hell, I was ten!!) I loved Carrie Fisher from the moment I saw her in "Star Wars." I loved her dry wit and wry take on life. I hope the closeness I've read about Carrie and Debbie was real. I know exactly how Billie feels about losing her mom and grandmother. My mother died almost ten years ago and part of me doesn't understand why I can't pick up the phone and call her. Why can't I fly to L.A. on Southwest for Christmas like I did for so many years? Billie is adorable and I wish her a long and happy life.
