oh yes, there is a bunch of things that are such glorious and beautiful, everything that make our world, everything is bond, connected, ones can't live without another. Billie Marten were not to exist if every cells on Earth wasn't all fidgety. When you realize that you stop make scales of values. Put things above other things. Nonetheless, this Billie Marten is dope, I was not aware of her ❤

Last month I saw her live in a church hall filled with stain glass windows, luminous lights as the sun set. It’s was truly gorgeous, no one spoke but just rest their head in their family, friends and lovers whilst her voice echoed around the halls. It was truly magical.

Watch me as I go and separate the ones that I am made to love and hate And slowly counting down my body weight I'm tired Watch me as I go and separate the ones that I am made to love and hate And slowly counting down my body weight I'm tired ---------------------------------------------------- 4:10 ----- BLUE SEA, RED SEA ----- (lyrics) I stop and listen sometimes Plug myself into your eyes And I can see what you see and I like it I'm a fish in a blue sea and I like it But don't pick on me with your sympathy I don't, I don't need you to love me Listen to the people who say Lalalala, lalalala Lalalala, lalalala This snow is falling heavy Wish my mother would come and get me Forget all this makeup and fall in the red sea Set the weight of each day like the leaves of our oak tree But don't pick on me with your sympathy I don't, I don't need you to love me Listen to the people who say Lalalala, lalalala Lalalala, lalalala Everybody's moving away Lalalala, lalalala Water pushes water away Lalalala, lalalala And it's all good 'cause I feel it too Hanging around with nothing to do Make friends with the angel that blessed you Maybe together we get in the good Lalalala, lalalala Lalalala, lalalala Lalalala, lalalala Lalalala, lalala --------------------------------------------- 8:01 ------- BETSY ------- (lyrics) Heard you got the job Hope it serves you well Seems a good way out Coffee ticket town Your steady behaviour it's all in your nature I call you my neighbour at number 9 It's alright now Now, alright now Take a generational bow Are you calling out? Bang bang baby you're dead Politics will mess with your head Oh you voice of the people You leader of evil You messed up the church Put a gun to the steeple It's wavy man Man, wavy man Running just as fast as you can Are you ruined by the shake of a hand Glory days are gone Heaven knows we're doing it wrong Sleepy daydream boy This world is no man's toy Now are you proud? Take a generational bow Are you calling out? All feel better We'll all feel better So much better So much better So much better So much better All feel better So much better ----------------------------------------------- 11:42 ------ BOXES ------- (lyrics) Someday's I feel that I am bigger than most I don't have the ego, I'm not one to boast It is just I see the people As part of the whole It is just, I see the people in a big fish bowl We are boxes on boxes On boxes on boxes, haunted And we have things we don't need We are with and without in the road So damn tired of being a lady So damn bored of being a girl Then again If we look at it plainly I'd feel the same if I were a boy It is not the weather for the market today We just feel the pressure, the pressure of days We are sat upon a table where the food is hot We'll be talking for hours and we'll eat the whole lot We are boxes on boxes On boxes on boxes, haunted And we have things we don't need We are with and without in the road So damn tired of being a lady So damn bored of being a girl Then again If we look at it plainly I'd feel the same if I were a boy If I were a boy Life is but a dream I am just asleep Floating Tell me what you need I am on my knees Floating Beautifully free Life is good to me Floating Da-da-da-da-dum La-da-da-da-dum Floating

This is so absolutely beautiful, Billie. Nobody, that I’ve ever met or heard of in my 16 years on this planet has captured and described the vision of this world the same way that I have, until I discovered you. The poetry in your music, your lyric, the feeling and imagery you put into your videos aside the cinematography and biographies that you include in all of your posts; your style, your voice; it’s so me. I’ve never understood what it was like to be attached to an artist until you. What you do is beautiful, and when I mean beautiful it’s out of the ordinary. It’s like when you walk next to a stranger and you don’t realize they have a whole life; a whole story that you’re unaware of, and how sometimes you’re that stranger. It’s like the beauty and innocence of nature. It’s like a honey sunset or the green of a tree’s leaves bustling in the breeze. You’re such a beautiful person, inside and out, and I have so much respect for you because of that. You’re a normal person, don’t let anything impurity you. Keep being you, and thank you for all that you’ve done. Stay well my main homie :’)
@valentinatron5 жыл бұрын
Tyler Griffin I identify so hard on your comment, I’ve never known how to describe the way Billie marten or another amazing girl who is called Alice Phoebe Lou and their music make me feel...I’ve always had this sweet, calm and honey-like vision of the world, and little by little I loose it (because of social media and the way nobody I’ve ever known has understood the way I truly and deeply feel and see life), but Billie’s music and cinematography absolutely get it like nobody else does, they bring this way of thinking and living to life...and I am so grateful to know that there is people who feel like me, who are deeply aware of nature’s calmness and beauty, and essentially the beauty of simple things and life. I’m also 16 btw :,)

Sometimes I really wish I could have that view of life. But nothing ever seems only good to me. You pass me the honey, I'll make it bitter sweet. I'm afraid that the stranger next to me knows my story and is disgusted by me. But then I realize that maybe I'm just disgusted by myself. Whenever I need a pause of my perspective and the way I need to interpret I find myself here. Maybe it's not the best way to handle things. But it gives me peace. And isn't that what we all want?

CHILDHOOD I'm slow dancing on the kitchen floor on a rainy night with our old radio on. I'm looking out my window out there nowhere. I'm basking the summer sun without any doubt. I'm captain of my Picnic team and the food got burnt . I'm wildberry picking with my friends piling them on leafs. I'm tumbling on hays running barefeet everywhere. I'm helping my friend put lipstick for the first time. Climbing guava trees from my grandmas backyard, petting little lambs . I miss being beautifully free.........

Shit, your childhood sounds rad. Mine just felt like licking play dough and crying under the covers. There was also this perfect patch of sand between these two rental houses in our neighborhood. And id play there every fucking day by myself and shape it into a perfect dome. Normally id stick my thumb in the top to make it a "ant hill" and then demolished it whenever I needed to go back inside. Never got old.

Love all of these songs and the visuals that go with them. Makes me nostalgic & think about my mom who passed away in the 90's, "The snow is falling heavy.. wish my mother would come and get me."

Omg! I can't believe i found it!! I used to play this music video every morning on 2020 to do my "home"works and it gave me so much peace everytime i felt stressful and anxious. A few months ago i remembered the melody but couldn't remember who was the singer or the name of the music video. I searched and searched... turns out i never saved it on any of my music lists. Anyway here i am, i feel so happy right now (it is silly, maybe) and when i played it it gives me chills and the same feelings i felt back in time. It feels like it's been like 30 years since i heard it, lol. Thankful that I found it again and thank you, Billie, for making such beautiful art for the eyes, ears, heart and soul !!! ❤

Mice has to be the most melancholic song I've heard in a long time. Something about it is really heart wrenching.

I love your songs lyrics. It's good to feel how you look at the world. All this song is beautiful. Boxes have such a old soul vibe.

The first track is amazing. Prolly a perfect alignment of time, space, and mindset, but this was an absolute gift from the universe . What a cool voice. Thank you.

This song tells me that by inspiring each other, our lost people may yet bring other together and rediscover their lost language of true communion
