Yes, I think this all the time. I Iiterally, for months, would listen to this entire album on Spotify before falling asleep, it was so perfectly soothing. This is my absolute favorite album of 2019 by far. I was and still am very passionated about 'Writings of blues and yellows", but I wasn't expecting that level of beauty, restrain and subtlety 'Feeding Seahorses By Hand' exudes. I love that quality of quietness throughout all the songs: they never demand for your attention, you're just grabbed by Billie's voice and the production overall and it's like a warm hug on an Autumn afternoon. It's just inspiring and I'm so glad I got to watch this live session. Thank you so much for this masterpiece, Billie, one for the ages. Love from Brazil

She brings me back to the days when I first heard Joanie Mitchell one of the greatest American folk singers of our time. and And yet, Billie has her own special something. Billie Marten is the introverted, Billie Eilish the extroverted. Both of them are very talented and unique, but they have some resembling sounds, such as the heavingly whispered singing voice, and the calmness that their songs (not all of Eilish's) can exude. Billie Marten is the Introvert, because as we can listen, most of her songs are extremely minimalistic, with only guitars and some drums or piano, and sometimes some synthesizers, but really as background. Billie Eilish is the Extrovert, she likes to cause awe in people, and even though she can be really close to Marten's style in some songs, she never really gets close to her instrumental sound, only the calmness. She mostly uses piano and computer generated sounds, not much instrumental going for her. And, as we all can see, the extrovert gets much more attention, and the introvert stays in the back... Maybe that's how it's supposed to be, maybe Marten would feel like she's getting too much attention and feel out of place if she was as famous as Eilish. Introverts have that need for space to think and recharge their energies. But maybe I'm just looking too much on it, maybe Marten's dream is to be as big as Eilish and win grammies and shit. IDK
