@edzact_ly
@edzact_ly Жыл бұрын
As a student currently studying interior design, that house has the most ridiculous and bizarre design I've ever seen. I'm not talking about the visual aesthetics, but the fact that spaces in the house seems randomized. The room in 7:22 feels like whoever designed the house don't know what to do with the room so they just added a table and chair. And by god that television is useless when most of the user is facing away from it. There's other things I can point out like poor routing, small clearances between furniture, randomly placed decoration everywhere, etc. Billionaire houses are so crap that I think the people who made these just do it so they can rip off people who don't know anything about interior design besides "wow pretty Scandinavian minamlist interior!!"

Generally these ultra expensive houses are never occupied at all. rarely, they will be occupied for a few days, but even then often its not the owner or renter. They are a way for ultra rich in other countries (usually Chinese billionaires) to park money offshore from where they live. They can also be used as a form of currency with other billionaires to avoid paying taxes. This has become such a massive problem in Canada that there are laws stating that owners or renters have to live in their property for a minimum number of days in a year, or they pay some extremely high tax.

🛀 For people wondering about the bath onion: Onions are believed to neutralize bad odors in your bathroom, especially if you don't air it out very much. You're supposed to leave an unpeeled one out for 2-4 days, then throw it away. I don't know if it actually works or not, but I still found it interesting. Also I think the idea was popularized by a TikTok user. They called it "shower onion" if you're curious. Also, the first time I heard the term "bath onion" - I just about lost it.
