I heard it, and knew no more. Heard it as I sat petrified in that unknown cemetery in the hollow, amidst the crumbling stones and the falling tombs, the rank vegetation and the miasmal vapours. Heard it well up from the innermost depths of that damnable open sepulchre as I watched amorphous, necrophagous shadows dance beneath an accursed waning moon. And this is what it said, “YOU FOOL, CAT IS DEAD!”

Really fun project! I especially enjoyed the run through at the end, nice to see a lot of old builds again. Before you sell them off, would you consider doing HD scans so you can get more decks printed up - there are a few card making websites out there you can upload art to and they make the deck for you. I imagine there'd be some interest in having a copy of the deck as playable cards.

Yooooo! Wow Bill. Well worth the wait. First off, solid idea with the playing cards. I can't believe that's not a "thing". Absolutely interested in the cards. You weren't kidding about seeing some characters that we might not have seen before. Going to look up some episodes from the past to see what I've missed. Remember it's "Bill Making Stuff" and not Bill only makes bots. The art thing is a great direction, and you really should share more of your artwork. Don't be so apologetic about the art you make with markers and paper. Keep up that momentum, it really suits you. Probably one of my top 5 favorite episodes so far. Thanks Bill, and please keep making stuff.

Love the deck Bill, it was great to watch this because I made my own tarot deck a couple years back. Your process here was very similar to mine, but I wanted to mention that one thing I liked a lot, that cut way down on the cards bending because of a heavy paint layer, was priming with my airbrush. My first few cards were all painted with acrylics right onto the card, and I found it took forever to dry, and it'd kind of bend the cards. The airbrush didn't do this, and it made a sort of protective barrier between the paint and the cards, which kept them from absorbing that paint moisture and getting freaky. It also helped colour coverage and getting nice gradients on the backgrounds. Cheers!

36:19 was waiting to see this one. OFFFFFF WITH THEIR HEADS! ♠️♥️♣️♦️. I lovvvvvve playing cards and the symbols (the thought of how ancient they are and how many humans in all walks of life, for all of time, have recognized them), so this was really exciting to see. You did a fantastic job. It was my realization yesterday, on my 45 minute walk home from work (literally up hills and through snow & ice) that as conservative as i am on spending, and as much effort i can possibly exert, i cannot actually afford to live 😳 so as much as i would love to own some cards while also being supportive, i just cannot. I'm fine by the way, just ready to see some heads roll because I'm not the only one in this boat.

Hey Bill, this is such a brilliant idea! I've been doing a 100 character challenge (just sketching little drawings of characters in pencil and adding them to a roster), and I agree its definitely kept me sane through the school and holiday times haha, but I have to give making a card deck with my own creatures a go now!! I had a bit of fun with my 2 year old daughter drawing MTG tokens. I had a large peice of white card stock from some fancy packaging, and I cut it up into a handful of cards, I drew the creatures in permo marker and gave them to my toddler to colour for me. They ended up being a chaotic colourful mess and the pictures got more and more wacky with her suggestions. But they make a great accessory for my commander decks that I can cherish.
