The Psychology and Science of fishing is what separates the men from the boys! It is important to be a master of technique but choosing the right fishing location is vitally important. " You can't catch BIG BROWNS if they aren't where you are trolling"! Factors such as WIND, BAIT FISH, TEMPERATURE, WATER CLARITY and FISHING PRESSURE all weigh into an angler's decision making process. Here is how we use these factors to put more fish in the boat. This video is full of both action and intel!
The Bill Saiff Outdoors family has a national reputation for pushing back the boundaries of great lakes fishing and hunting. Their goal has always been to provide the best fishing and hunting experience available on Lake Ontario and in its fields, marshes, and backwaters. Their syndicated sport fishing program, Bill Saiff’s “Rod & Reel,” has continually spurred interest in their part of Lake Ontario. In accordance with this, the Saiff family operates an eight-boat “Saiff Charters” fleet equipped to provide anglers with a great fresh water experience on eastern Lake Ontario.
The Saiff family also owns and operates Seaway Waterfowl Professionals (SWP), which offers exciting puddle duck, diving duck, and Canada Goose hunting for the novice to the experienced shooter from early October until late December. SWP uses the latest equipment and well-trained hunting retrievers to ensure your hunt is the memory of a lifetime.

Thanks for sharing, truly enjoy your explanations of strategy and techniques. As I fish the north easterly shore of lake Ontario, I have never been the US side of the lake. If I decide to make the trip to the US side to chase browns, your sharing will provide a better chance of a productive day. Thanks from a Canadian out of the Montreal area.

Thanks for sharing Bill. I’ve spent the winter watching and learning. You are a wealth of information! I have my first trip planned to fish for Browns in the middle of May. I have all the lures you use, plan on zig zagging, force feeding and using a weight rod 😉. I’m bringing my Dad who has wanted to do this for a long time. Thank you so much for getting us ready, this is going to be a blast!

Browns were definitely gorging on the gobies down here east of the Genny a couple weeks ago. Puking them up when they hit the deck.

Hi Bill, just discovered your vids great stuff! Were those stingers off your boards? If so how do you get them to go down, I always fish sticks on the boards and set spoons 60' back on my riggers. I havent had luck putting split shot in front of my spoons on the boards.

Awesome video. You guys are great. Do the browns do the same thing in Lake Huron? Like come into the shallow water?
