I’m a huge Bron homer, but I don’t see a victory. Not enough defense. If Vando was healthy and we had a decent backup big, maybe. The problem is with D-Lo out there we suck on defense. Maybe Gabe Vincent has an all-time series, him or Reaves.

@@purplestate It's sarcasm. The odd troll guy is simply mocking the casual fans who dont waatch the games. Our biggest weakness on the defensive end is our backcourt. We give up more points to opposing guards than any other position and our backcourt of Reaves and Dlo are ranked near the bottom in defense. LeBron due to his age and offense responsibilities is mainly a help defender within our scheme and hes functioned better than expected for a 21 season veteran. We definitely need more size at the Center position becuse weve been mauled by the elite centers and given up way too many 2nd chance points and rebounds

@@dewanewelch1744 The Lakers attack the rim more aggressively than the other teams in the NBA. They will draw fouls; it's part of their game plan. Do they benefit from some ticky tack calls? Absolutely. Reaves is like a mini-Harden. Herky jerky movements that draws some whistles that shouldn't be fouls. There are times AD or Lebron get a favorable call, but you can almost always point to another call that quarter that was more obvious that they didn't get.

If LeBron loses in the Finals, then it won't matter who he went through prior to the loss because most people don't care about context. No one cares that he played the greatest team ever in consecutive seasons. No one cares that in '15 he lost the other two all-stars on his team. No one even cares that in 2007 he was playing against a dynastic Spurs team with a roster that almost no one else in history could have gotten to the Finals. The narrative with LeBron has always been _if you're really that good, then you should win regardless of the circumstances._ For a lot of people a dub's a dub, and an L's an L 🤷🏾‍♂️

The giants lost 2 of there last 3 coming in to the playoffs and had to play every single round starting in the wildcard and they didn’t get a bye and an extra week off like the pats, plus the break after the conference championships. Using that excuse that they were just too winded compared to the giants, who had played every week from week 9 on without a break AND played a much more physical style of football on offense, is about as hollow as it gets. They got schooled and not bc they were just too beat, that lost bc they got outplayed. Simple and square

The 4 star players are pretty equal, LeBron and AD can at least mostly match Jokic and Murray's production. The problem is Denver's role players are just SO much better than the Lakers it is laughable, and Darvin Ham is so clearly out coached by Malone every single time. The Lakers offense is so predictable and there is no movement at all. If somehow DLO and Reeves are able to outplay Gordon and MPJ, and AD is able to turn into a guy they have to double every game because he is going off, they have a small shot. But that never happens, AD has good games but he is rarely that guy that is so dominating a team that they are trying different things to contain him etc. LeBron will be consistent and good, but unless he is great for 4 games they have no shot. Denver will win the series easily and LeBron will have to really decide if he wants to stay in the West....it is so deep and good, maybe best conference ever, that he has no shot getting back to the Finals. If he moved to an East team that is already decent, he has a way better shot at one last ring.

I was watching this till the “oh the Lakers get more calls”… the team in the NBA with the best fouled margin on the 4th Quarter is… the the Celtics (yes your team bro!!!), the Lakers are 14 th!!!!!!’ the most scandalous late game call over the last decade was the non call vs the Celtics (yeah bro.. your team)… If you can’t be unbiased at least hide your bodies better cos your take is 100% dismissed by facts and they also show that your teams gets the most. Shut up!!!!

These fanciful theories about Lebron doing miraculous thing in the playoffs never materialized after he went West. He got his weird little bubble ring at 35 (same age as Mike in 98), and now it's OVER. If he losses to Denver this year, this will be his WC experience in six years: - 2 times missing the playoffs. - 2 times losing in the first round - 1 time sweep in the WCF. - 1 ring in an empty gym in Florida. Sure looks like Duncan, Kobe or any other all-time great playing in this brutal conference this century. Maybe even a little worse. Oh right, the bad ankle.

Man why are you so angry at another man's achievements? Everything you said is completely true.. However content matters. Whether he won the ring in a bubble or empty gym. Teams competed!! to discount all the work ppl put in to provide us basketball is sad.. You had something to watch when we were all locked 🔒 up at home but want to hate on the winners of that chip. I was very grateful 🙏🏽 to have basketball to watch. I don't know how u were living but b'ball.

Why aren’t we just assuming the Lakers are going to draft Bronny? That’s the type of thing they do to take care of their superstars.

If the Bucks are willing to sign Giannis' bum brother with no ceiling, Bronny is 100% getting signed with the Lakers. Worst case scenario is Bronny goes to the G league and he sells them more tickets

I don't know about you guys, but eight first minutes of Lebron's opportunity to go to Finals is a complete waiste of time. I love Wildes and the face reaction he had when asked this question tells all. Stop doing fillers, Bill, you are way too rich for these shenanigans.

I will always love Simmons, but there's some whack homer anti-Lebron stuff woven in here... 1. If you watch the LAL games, the 'they get help from the refs' narrative just falls apart. It's their defense to funnel and not foul, and they score inside more than other teams = more fouls. 2. Pels schemed to get Zion off Lebron and open in the Play-In. It wasn't like he beat Lebron up (aside from that charge).
