The actor in question is Dabney Coleman, whose list of credits is enormous and includes quite a few notable movies. This particular movie is called Short Time. The basic gist of the movie is that he's a cop who finds out he's dying, and that the payout for his family will be much bigger if he dies in the line of duty. So, he keeps putting himself in increasingly deadly situations, only to keep surviving and being hailed a hero. It being a comedy, it turns out that he's not actually dying. In Ryen's defense: Dabney Coleman is really white, has been in a ton of movies and tv shows, has been both a lead and supporting actor, was the lead in this film, and many of his roles in more prominent projects come as the supporting actor. lol.

People in the comments mentioned the movie Russillo was talking about (Short time) but almost every heist movie usually comes down to "One last time', or" one last con". Here are a few examples: Ocean's 11, Heat, Fast Five, The Italian Job, Bank Job, any Mission Impossible, and The Score.

Bill in my opinion is overstating how important it is to field a quality team in the Intuit Dome's opening season. Only about 30 years ago the Orioles created their stadium in Camden Yards. This ushered in a whole new area of "modern retro-" ballparks which initially were filled at capacity even though the various teams might have been mediocre. OF COURSE the Intuit Dome will sell out in its first year for novelty alone, regardless of team success. You could have a discussion about sustaining the attendance down the road though and that is more of a fair concern. Also his comparison of the Clippers to the Kings (I presume NHL) is off = nobody in Los Angeles hates the Kings…
@David-iv6je Жыл бұрын
Yeah but those "modern retro" parks really hit the nostalgia "take me out to the ballpark" vibe more than anything I've ever seen in sports. BS might be right about the new Clips facility. Becoming a lottery team might be toxic. Need to hook those fans. I'm betting they have some marketing study that supports the BS take. And hey, did you know Simmons has Clippers season tickets?
@vimalmurthy3665 Жыл бұрын
@@David-iv6je LOL BS mentions that all the time. But I do go back to the "new stadium novelty" that can fill an arena. I mean the way Ballmer sells it (Toilets! Toilets! Toilets!), the Intuit Dome could be to NBA arenas what Camden Yards was to 1990s baseball parks. And it is somewhat funny that you mention marketing = with all the local negative energy that surrounds LAC (though not completely of their own doing), why on earth would Ballmer insist on staying in the area? Go somewhere that you would have a welcoming fan base IN TOTALITY

As far as the Clippers are concerned, they have a playoff team led by Westbrook without Kawhi and George in the mix. Either trade the 2 vet stars for 2 younger stars or borderline All Star 4 role players. Either way, they have to compliment Russ within the Clippers system
@K2MNI Жыл бұрын
As a Raptors fan we're definitely a "One More Time" team. Traded away next year's first round pick for Poeltl so we're kind of forced to try and contend. The roster doesn't fit together since the best 5 players currently under contract can't shoot or can't create their own shot. The team has a ceiling of being the 5th seed since we're definitely worse than Milwaukee, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami and arguably worse than Cleveland and New York too. More than likely will be competing for a play-in spot with the likes of Atlanta, Chicago, Orlando and Detroit.
@andrewshandle Жыл бұрын
Just comes down to if FvV comes back. Not sure _why_ they'd run it back to be honest, the team isn't good enough to compete for the top 4 seeds and OG, Pascal and FvV are just going to get more expensive. We're a year away from the 5 year rule where we can start asking "Are we sure Masai is a good Team President?"

@Bewbscueser Жыл бұрын
As a lifelong Bulls fan I hated the Vuc trade the second it happened. I get Russillo's point about not every move needing to be in aid of winning a ring but I think that dynamic varies by market. Bulls fans that were around during the Jordan era just do not care about a ceiling of making the second round. Bulls fans who weren't around during the Jordan era have lived it vicariously via KZbin and do not care about a ceiling of making the second round. This isn't Sacramento or Indiana. I'm not trying to be elitist I'm just pointing out what the conversation around this team is locally. The other failure I feel compelled to discuss is player development. Markkanen and Carter left town and immediately blossomed into highly useful players. Throw in the lack of development shown by Patrick Williams and it's no fun being a Bulls fan. They intend to re-sign Vuc which is like trying to jerk off while wearing an oven mitt. This team is stagnant and worst of all boring. Perhaps this is the Karmic cost of the Jordan era...except it isn't. It's the very practical cost of shitty management and ownership.

The concerns about losing Smart because "he was Boston's best passer" are a little silly to me. Yes, Smart was the Celtics best passer... by default. Did he regularly drive and kick? No. So, what are we really talking about? Would you prefer another season of Boston moving the ball around the arc like a hot potato until that results in a somewhat less contested three-point opportunity, or would you like to see Porzingis utilized in post-up situations that could result in doubles leading to much more open looks and easy baskets if the double doesn't come? Boston needed to change the structure of its offense, and acquiring Porzingis does that for them.
