Notes: Since the previous class ran out of time, I added 17.D to the beginning of this video.
These videos do not use sound. The lessons are taught without voice. If the signing seems fast you are encouraged to first study the lessons at www.Lifeprint.com and then come back and watch the video. Sarah is an actual ASL student. You can learn along with her as she progresses. For additional lessons and signing information, visit Lifeprint.com.

Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, if you are in a position to, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL videos (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at: lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm Take care and love to you all. :)

Thank you Dr Bill for your hard work and generosity. My 5 year old son, Mattias, is not deaf but he was born with a genetic condition that prevents him from speaking. I'm trying to learn sign to communicate with him and your lessons have been greatly needed and appreciated. Though we are still learning and the progress is slow, you have given my son a voice. It is the only way he can express himself since he cannot talk. Thank you so very much. God bless you.

Thank-you for uploading ASL level 2 videos! I was about to continue from where I left off a while ago with the level 2 videos that you sell, but checked your channel first to see if there was anything new. These videos are much better quality. Thanks again and great job putting quality videos out!

Hello there! I just want to say your videos are so fun and great to learn. As a hearing student I am learning as much as I can so I dont lose it. Its hard in a small city, very conservative. I force myself to go to a café and practice by myself. I love getting interesting looks and sometimes people tell me if im playing. No I just tell them that Im studying sign language and want to be a translator. I love this language and the beauty that it has. I love to dance and express myself. My city is looked frowned on dance in places but for some reason sign language lets me get away with it. I will keep practicing and thank you from a fan. peace keep up the good work

Hey Bill - I have a question about dominant hands, and the answer seems to differ depending on whom I ask. Does it matter if I switch my dominant hand while signing? What if I consistently use my left hand as dominant (I'm left-handed), but use my right hand to spell? Is that super confusing for people to read? Thanks, and thanks so much for the videos - they're incredibly helpful!

if you mainly sign with you left and spell with your right a true deaf or hard of hearing person won't mind only other hearing people will care. I am also left handed and sometimes switch but ive been told that it's fine. it's only bad if you constantly switch off hands for signing

i teach my friend sign language, and she is left handed. I've noticed she switches too. it doesn't mater unless your constantly doing it in a sentence. try not to switch hands in the middle of signing and you should be good. thanks! hope i helped

That is definitely "circus." Tip: If you watch the video with a keyboard you can click the space bar to stop the video then click the "period" key (which also has the greater than ">" symbol on it) to advance one frame at a time. That way you can analyze fast spelling and have an easier time figuring it out.

salt doesn't make your blood pressure go up. lack of proper nutrition and lack of vitamins and minerals causes blood pressure to go up.

Salt makes your b.p go up. One of the lifestyle modifications for hypertensive patients is to reduce their salt (sodium) intake. A class of anti-hypertensives (diuretics) target sodium removal from the body.

7 months late but here's your answer: When you eat too much salt, which contains sodium, your body holds extra water to "wash" the salt from your body. In some people, this may cause blood pressure to rise. The added water puts stress on your heart and blood vessels.
