Dude, my name is Chuck Lambert and I have played a couple shows with "Four out of Five Dentists" on the drums. The main guy in the group was Alan Wesley. He started out in LA and ended up in Georgia, somewhere along the way, and I did a couple of fill-in, live drum performances for "Four out of Five Dentists". Before my guitar playing days, I was a drummer/vocalist, and did that quite a bit over the years. 4 out of 5 Dentists also played a show with my first band, ISENGARD, at The Night Owl Lounge in Athens, GA back in '95.

I've been watching talk show interviews for 45 years and he's come up quite a few times. He's one of the more pretentious people who isn't Clive Anderson that I can think of, but he's learning to put a lid on it. He might be a little sociopathic or maybe just an a-hole. Considering that he's acting civilized now, my money's on sociopathic. It sounds like I dislike him, but I don't. He's an actor and a musician whose work I like but I've seen him present himself many times and it's ugly.

One of BBT's most appreciated performances was in "The Ice Harvest" with a suitable group of actors for this holiday themed caper movie: John Cusack, Connie Nielsen, Danny Aiello Sr., Randy Quaid, Oliver Platt to name a few of the rich character cast. I picked the DVD out of 5$ discount bin at Walmart years ago and it is mandatory viewing around holiday time, much like the first 2 Die Hard movies. The ending credits music is wonderful and I'm grinnin' like a Chesthire cat just thinkin' 'bout BBT's blooper outtakes. ( you'll see) My 2 cents. {:-))

I tried to organize a couple of bands. The failing was always the same. The best chance we had to take off was after Katrina when we played on Bourbon Street. We captured the attention of the media of the world for three pop songs we all knew. But one guy decided the fourth song would be one of his "songs". It was just him noodling on his guitar. None of the rest of us knew the "song" so we couldn't accompany it without stepping on it, and sounding really awful. I couldn't even play rhythm with it on a tambourine. We had to stop playing leaving him solo, and all the media walked away. A couple of guys sit on the porch of my house noodling on amplifiers, and sounding awful. Drives the neighbors nuts. Tried to get with them to practice a few pop songs for at least a little pro sound. Nothing doing. Undisciplined characters.

In re. Nebula 5, there was a band in my town called "Tuba Four" which I went to see at a bar, expecting four tuba players to rip up some standards and rock the house down. Turns out it was a trio with keys, drums, and a tuba player doing bass duties. Suffice it to say I was somewhat disappointed but they were very good nonetheless and I got to know them. The name "Tuba Four" was a play on "two by four" and it never occurred to them that they might be putting themselves forward as a tuba quartet. Many a laugh was had.
