I saw him at Carnegie Hall in 1977. I was 17. Best concert I ever seen been to in my life.

Even the sound s…., Billy is one of the greatest! Saw him 2023 in Schwerin together with Gary Husband, Ziffarelli and Mondesir and last year at Open Air at Schloss Neuhardenberg with a different lineup. Both events were exceptional performances like all I saw in the past.

Love me some Billy Cobham! I'm a drumma too! Been listening to Billy since the Bolinas days! First heard Bolinas while sitting in the dentist chair while on gas. I thought, Who is this? lol I never knew he was a Left handed drummer. As usual, most lefties, can play their butts off!!! Great music and excellent musician!!!!

I enjoyed a drum clinic he held in Tucson, AZ. Around 1984, for his Warning album. Pieces of ceiling were falling at the Temple of Music and Art.

As a Drum-Tech I think it's a shame that no one did a proper "flat" monitor mix for him that is acceptable as a start up point . The fact that he so francticly has to signal for adjustments is proof that it must be terrible. Nowadays I see less preperation and dedication which is sad. It's the work "behind the scene" that makes performances spectacular. Problem is few people nowadays want to be behind the scenes. However these are the true "heroes".

I have been listening to Billy since The Funky Thide of Sings album form 1975! Great to see he is still in the groove.

He no longer has to scream “ I am here-Look @ me” Folks are finally listening to him tell his story He has transcended from a percussive force of nature to a musical impresario conducting a Starship of Sound A True Visionary who’s vision has manifested ☝🏾

There must be something wrong with the audio or recording. Compare, with Simon Phillips' killer sound at Tama's 40th anniversary. Sad, here we have a giant to say the least who deserves the best in audio. And we deserve it too, with a fanfare for real musicians, real musicians and real music.

TAMA is UNACCEPTABLE‼️ We can only see Billy and the guitarist and that’s only because he stands in front of Billy. The other musicians are not even mentioned at the info❗️At least they are introduced by Billy by the end of the video. These awful things happen when decisions are taken from technocrats who have nothing to do with music…
