Just got back from seeing Billy in concert in Washington, D.C.. Never mind his health troubles, he gave 2 1/2 hours of MAD JOY. Brilliant. Genius. We were pained from laughing. I'm truly grateful to have had the opportunity to see him in person.

I mean this with all my heart. Billy Connolly is one of my most FAVORITE people in the world. I’ve watched every. Single. Video. Of his on KZbin. I’m too young and missed his early career but I watched all his videos and he is such a brilliant man. I feel like he’s been an unintentional mentor for me. I love him with all my heart and wish I knew how he was doing. I can’t find anything online about how his health’s been. I know he received knighthood earlier this year and that’s the last thing I know. If anyone knows how he’s been please let us know. I ♥️ you Billy Connolly!!!!

@martinhiggins33956 жыл бұрын
I spent a moment considering Billy's argument that the long nose hair and other comparable changes in an aging body must happen for a reason. Respectfully, there is a flaw in that argument. The way evolution works is that any mutation that increases our ability to survive, mate and raise children to the age where they can reproduce will be amplified and mutations that decrease that ability will die out. Any mutation that only results in a change to our phenotype when we are elderly is really moot. Most people didn't live to be 70 during most of the history of human evolution.
