So odd to think that the early and mid 1990's are such history. I was at the '94 L'ploza. So glad that music revolution happened and that I was right in the middle of it all. Such an incredible time for music.

Lollapalooza '94 was the best concert I've been to. It was also the only time I saw SP with the original lineup. Great video!

the mtv producers definitely purposely placed this job in someone who was guaranteed to make this uncomfortably funny, billy just happened to be the first person they saw who fit the description.

MCA is the member of the Beastie Boys who recently died. He interviews him here, the guy with the grey cap. P.S. : You should really get into the Beastie Boys, greatest white rappers ever. And MCA, one of the greatest human being ever.

I love that the Beastie Boys give everyone a hard time when they are interviewed. There was a recent interview where Mike D starts crawling on the floor during the interview. They are fantastic and just heckle the shit out the interviewer, regardless who it is.

Plenty of tension here between Billy and Darcy. It’s actually surprising that the group stayed together for a long time after this. It’s whacked to think that The Smashing Pumpkins are the only band of the bunch still cutting records and touring.

I play guitar. Give me a bass and tell me to learn it and then I can be in your rock band. And that I can live a rockstar lifestyle for five or 6 years. And afterwards I'll have 3 million dollars. 🎸And I won't protest about money when the person that's writing all the lyrics and music and fronting the band ,and playing most of the instruments and doing the business side of it.... is making way more money. I promise I will be content. Why can't these musicians figure this out. The money's in the songwriting publishing

@johnnytastetest I know, I was mentioning that to me no matter how cool Billy acts especially around this time, he was banging Courtney while Cobain was alive and after he died. Love the Pumpkins, but I think that to be the MOST toolish thing to do.
