But if he grinds his teeth, his jaw would be sore and they could have given him a special device to insert in his mouth at night, and once his body realizes the grinding doesn't work, he may not need to wear it. But TMJ is very painful, shoots up into the head. I think the dentist screwed him. He should get a second opinion, nothing personal, bud but my mouth is insured for $7million and I don't want you ducking it fup! I'm a big advocate of doing all you can to save your teeth - and not let any dentist be a THREAT to your health! If he had to get bone removed, he sure as hell couldn't have an implant! There's something really creepy about this! I'm all broken up about Norm MacDonald dying - they seem to throw celebrities in the trash even when they are popular. Medical Murders are a reality, so check yourself. Please.

This makes me laugh due to needing a bone graft first and dental implant myself. It’s a wild and long ride! A bone graft is done with cadaver bone and it takes a while for bone build back up before the dental implant process can begin.

Haha! I pulled a similar prank as a summer camp teacher.. Told the kids why they shouldn't run because I slipped and fell from running when i was a kid, and broke my jaw.. But told them they were fresh out of human jaws, so I had to get a dog's jaw. Then asked them if they wanted to touch it....needless to say I scared a couple of them so bad, I got a couple phone calls from angry parents the next day, and almost lost my job!! Lol

Ewww. Could the dentist have been lying just to take advantage? Did he get a second opinion? Bone infections occur if one doesn't have a root canal. If it's a bad root canal, it shows up in the x-ray. I've had dentists lie to me alot where I live. That dentist could be a THREAT to his health!
