Best movie I’ve ever seen. I’ve replayed over and over. I still cry at the end scene.

Liam is now a dancer with Matthew Bourne’s dance company and I was lucky enough to see him in a live performance of Swan Lake as the prince. Sublime.

this was an awesome movie I watch it over and over as I loved it and still do, I just wish there was a part two x
@susanlee66503 жыл бұрын
I have said from the word go that there should be a part two. So many questions have been left unanswered. Like what happened to his dad and his brother after the pit closures, how Billy got through the change of school, what happened to his grandma. There are definite possibilities for a part two surely.

@@susanlee6650 His dad married the dance teacher. And grandma got a job at mecca bingo. His brother went for a drink with Micheal after the show and now live in Amsterdam running a coffee house. His dad's mates are still on the dole. But some have had their money stopped because they never took the covid jab.

You should see Jamie Bell in Turn: Washington’s spies. He’s not physically a tall actor, but in that series he’s a giant.

I'm missing something here. This is probably the greatest introduction to the billy show that there is. WTF? Why are there no responses? My heart hurts.

I agree David. But I Think you don't have to be so disepointed. I Think comments have been deleted, so you are actually starting a new conversation. Everybody loves this.

It would really be interesting to follow-up these kids and see what became of them.

One of them, Liam Mower now works with Matthew Bourne. Which is very full circle because at the end of Billy Elliot. Older Billy (Adam Copper) was in Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake. Liam was in a revival of that Swan Lake, but didn’t play the Swan he played the Prince. And Both Adam and Liam worked together in another Matthew Bourne production. Called The Red Shows. Both have also played Older Billy. Adam in the movie and Liam came back to do it for the live production that got put on DVD

WHY BILLY AND MICHAEL NOT TOGETHER 😭😭😭😭
@TianaMay20014 жыл бұрын
Because their relationship is platonic

The point was, one didn't have to be gay to dance. Billy Elliot really challenged that stereotype.
@n4gix Жыл бұрын
Listen to Billy as he talks to Michael. "I'm not a poof!" That is British slang for someone who's gay. What I found amazing is that in the movie, Michael is already twenty-four years old! He looked at that time like a young pubescent boy...

The had a beautiful accepting friendship. Billy’s passion was dance and Michael’s passion was accepting himself, which Billy encouraged. Perfect.
