Billy Graham warned Richard Nixon about 'Synagogue of Satan'

On February 1, 1972 immediately after the National Prayer Breakfast, President Richard Nixon and Rev. Billy Graham had a meeting in the Oval Office that lasted about 90 minutes. Unbeknown to Graham, Nixon was in the habit of recording his private conversations and upon his incrimination in the Watergate Scandal was forced to release many of these conversations.

On February 1, 1972, President Richard M. Nixon, William F. ("Billy") Graham, H. R. ("Bob") Haldeman, Rose Mary Woods, Ronald L. Ziegler, and Stephen B. Bull met in the Oval Office of the White House from 10:03 am to 11:37 am. The Oval Office taping system captured this recording, which is known as Conversation 662-004 of the White House Tapes.

Billy Graham: “They (the Synagogue of Satan) had a stranglehold on Germany, on the banking of Germany, on everything in Germany.” Richard Nixon: “And the media.” Billy Graham: “And the media! They had the whole thing you see but he (Hitler) went about it wrong. This stranglehold (on the USA) has got to be broken, or this country is going to go down the drain.” Richard Nixon: “You believe that?” Billy Graham: “Yes sir.” Richard Nixon: “I can’t ever say it, but I believe it.” Billy Graham: “If you get elected a second time we might be able to do something.”
