On February 1, 1972 immediately after the National Prayer Breakfast, President Richard Nixon and Rev. Billy Graham had a meeting in the Oval Office that lasted about 90 minutes. Unbeknown to Graham, Nixon was in the habit of recording his private conversations and upon his incrimination in the Watergate Scandal was forced to release many of these conversations.

On February 1, 1972, President Richard M. Nixon, William F. ("Billy") Graham, H. R. ("Bob") Haldeman, Rose Mary Woods, Ronald L. Ziegler, and Stephen B. Bull met in the Oval Office of the White House from 10:03 am to 11:37 am. The Oval Office taping system captured this recording, which is known as Conversation 662-004 of the White House Tapes.
