They look like they were all having fun while making this video -- just cutting up. It makes you feel happy to watch them. But that is how we were back then -- just having fun. It did not matter how f***k up your personal life might have been -- and a lot of people had a bad time; but you could get together with friends; put this music on, and just forget your troubles for a time. I was in my 20's during the whole 80's (born '61). What a wonderful time to be a young adult! I raised my kids to this music. I would play Billy Idol, full blast on the stereo and the kids would sing with me and dance all over the house!

I got to see billy idol and Stevie stevens play together at the Big E for my birthday this year, and they both are truly timeless. Costume changes, energy, the world blessed this concert I swear, it was outside with a full moon and dry lighting storm- 23 years old and blessed to be able to see him perform. He literally used 0 back up singers at 65 and is doing shows with the same enthusiasm.
