too bad tonight couldn't have been lemieux, jacobs, charlo, or even murray or quillin. no more mandatories for a while even though this is only his second defense in 21 months, so he isn't doing anything to jeopardize that lottery ticket. ggg almost got robbed tonight. canelo will still be there next year and with ggg holding all the belts after a great performance in the first fight, the canelo rematch could be even bigger. ggg should get that last belt and make history while he can and if he can come up with the same performance against canelo again anywhere but vegas he can retire undefeated with all the belts and a huge bank account. let canelo go back down to 154 to fight cotto in the meantime.

Great comment, well put. I love how BJS was very, very specific with names (or name) in Khan - who has NOT fought at 160 - as there aren't many 'big names' who won't burn that lottery ticket he is holding. I don't see any way that BJS fights in December. He's gonna sit around and wait to see what GGG is going to do as it's clear BJS ONLY goal is to sell him that belt.

Charlo is not a 'prospect'. He is #3 in the world behind GGG and Canelo. Bonus material: You said Jacobs hasn't fought anyone? His opponents win/loss is 282-73. Billy Ho's is 179-165. Oh, and one more thing: Charlo's ONE opponent at 60 is better than BJS entire resume. Simply saying, if you are going to comment, at least have a clue what it is you are talking about.
